After taking a couple of times to get the fit right, I am finally really pleased with these. Definitely lightweight real barely there feel. I wear some very thin toe socks with them as I can't ever seem to get around blisters otherwise.

I didn't try the velcro version, but this LS version (laces) are actual full laces vs. the old LS type which were basically elastic laces with a velcro attachment at the end fine for typical running, but when they get wet and muddy I found the velcro attachment to come undone and the laces would then loosen constantly. The new laces are typical style, so you can snug the shoe right up to fit your foot profile, and secure as tight as you like.

I bought these shoes a week before I went to Disney World after hearing great things about them. I then wore them everyday at Disney, walking around the parks for 8 hours or so without any pain at all. They are great! I normally get bad pain in my knees and back but even after 8 days of park walking I felt perfect! I now use them at work, I work 9 hour shifts, constantly on my feet, and again I feel great. They especially work well for running! I will never buy a pair of regular running shoes again, these work and feel so much better. It takes a bit of getting used to, as they are sort of odd but once you get used to how they walk you will fall in love with them. I am a woman's size 11 shoe and these fit perfect even though they are men's.

I ran 500 miles in my speeds last year, they were comfortable and durable, but I am really enjoying the light weight and breathable material on these. Hopefully, these will also last a full year.

The best that Vibram has produced to date. Like the place up for fit and ease of entry allows toe positioning better than some other models. Yes it's striped down as in light and flex and flexible with little support but that's the goal of the minimalist moVement. Make sure you transition properly take your time if your currently wearing any support or structured shoe. Give it time and you foot muscles will thank you. These strengthen all toes muscles in the foot and ankle that have been isolated with traditional running shoes.

second pair of Vibrams. These weren't what i originally expected, as i was looking for a more inocuous color scheme but similar comfort to the Komodosport LS. That said, I love them just not for winter.

I dont run much, so I use vibrams for 85% of my casual wear. My second choice is my Tsubo Veraldens for comfort.

these didnt have much bright colors, so i went based on ratings w same size (44) as KS LS's. they fit beautifully, actually a little nicer than when i first put my KS's on they took a couple weeks to open up a little to my feet and feel great now!

These are noticeabily lighter than the KS, and even more breathable as its a mesh top. I absolutely missed that in the description and feet get much colder than with the KS but will be great for spring/summer.
