Everything I was told about this shoe is true. It's great on the joints. The best I've had. I could feel a significant difference whithin a week. They are very light. You get the cushioned feel without feeling like your loosing momentum. On the outside, the sole looks extra thick but it's not. Your foot settles in and is cradled. My primary reasons for buying were to prevent blisters on longer runs and to get better life. Blisters are gone. It's too early to tell about the full life. I was getting 3-6 months from other brands. I'm nearly 3 months in and I expect that they will last as billed 2 to 3 times the life of others.
I did also buy SuperFeet inserts which added to the price. While these are more expensive than many other running shoes, they seem to be more than worth it.
