Price These are a great pair of entry level cleats. I got them for a smidge over $30 which is great value but I would not pay more than $50 at that price point you're not far off upgrading to leather and I would advise spending the little extra!

Quality Mizuno have excellent quality control, almost all my gear comes from them and is up to scratch. Only their batting gloves have a tendency to fall apart and frankly, what batting gloves don't after a season of use?

Material Synthetic cleats don't shape to your foot the way K-leather does which means less comfort, particularly around the toes (1 star off) but on the flip side, waterproofing is better, making them a good backup / bad weather option.

Design The 9 spike layout is a tried and true formula which is more knee and ankle friendly than some other patterns. Added to this, metal cleats puncture the ground more cleanly than rubber (many molded boots with rubber blades can contribute to torque injuries, lots of soccer clubs here in the UK have banned their use to prevent the associated injuries to players, notably Manchester United).

Sizing This was accurate for me, some other buyers have suggested going a half size up and if you prefer a little room around your toes then by all means do so (especially if you have a wide foot). I grew up playing football in the UK (soccer) and coaches always told us boots should be TIGHT even if they are a little uncomfortable at first, so I am used to a snug fit. A very, very small amount of stretch occurs with synthetic boots (not like leather where I always go a full size DOWN to accomodate breaking in) so don't expect them to loosen up if they're tight when you put them on, send them back and go half a size up.

Style And finally and equally importantly, they look the business, team mates will be oh so jealous.

These have softened up beautifully and now fit like a second skin, comfort has improved dramatically as a result! Great grip when I pitched off the mound last week and during infield drills. Even though the ground was soft and mud did cling to the cleats, they still gave good traction.

Mizuno cleats have always fit my son's foot well and they wear well. Adding the customizing color inserts was a nice feature.

These are great cleats. They come with inserts to change the color of the logo, but I can't figure it out, no biggie. For the brand, you can't beat the price. And the shipping was fast!

My daughter has been using these cleats for past few years and absolutely loves them. She plays High School Softball and an extensive travel ball schedule and they hold up very well. She is playing between 75 and 100 games a year plus many, many practices as well, and they are durable and comfortable.

Love these shoes, they fit and perform great. Had seen a comment on a different site about the color not being Royal as much as being closer to a Navy and that is true while they are a bit more Royal Blue than their Navy color, they are still dark for a Royal Blue".
