Love brooks glycerin, like brooks cascadia, this one however just didn't work for me. The fit and cushioning are what appeal to me in the other shoes and this was just too minimal, seemed wider too in fit. Sent it back. I did like the color and style though.

I had to double check the label to verify this shoe was by Brooks. I have one pair of "Pure Connect", two "Pure Cadence" and my first pair: "Pure Grit". They are heaven to my feet!! One is in my normal size 8.5, but I've gone for 9 in the others. This "Green Silence" feels TOO 'minimal". NO arch support and size 9 was too roomy. They are going back to Sierra Trading. Ball of right foot just loves Brooks!! They are the BEST shoe I've found in decades! Just not this "Green Silence".

I'm not a runner but have been desiring to start training. My girlfriend runs marathons and she recommended this brand of sneakers. My first Brooks and I LOVE THEM! The color, the fit (I have large and wide feet...not a problem at all), the lightweightedness and the flexibility are a plus. If you're into bright colored blocked shoes, get'em. I love my Brooks! Needed a shoe for 10k....love the feel of these. Very light and oh so ultra stylish! I got so many compliments!!! Just love that they're earth-friendly too.
