Bought these for my son as he is about to head into kindergarten and nothing but spiderman will do! They are great shoes; however they are narrow, so I would certianly recommend buying the wide size as they seem to be more regular width. Just exchanging due to the width.

There is a thick elastic band under the tongue that is much too tight. My grandson tried so hard to wear these sneakers, but after actually forcing his foot into them, they left a large red mark on the top of his foot. The sneaker, itself, was a good fit, size-wise, but that elastic insert made them impossible t wear. I returned them.

My issue with these is the Velcro. It does not fit snug or in place. My son is very picky with this so he will sit there setting the Velcro over and over until its right. It did eventually come apart (Velcro) maybe because of the aforementioned. They do look great though. Colors are vibrant.

The velcro on these shoes does not stretch well over the shoe and come undone very easily. This was a very disappointing purchase. I expect much more from the Stride Rite product.
