I love love love these running shoes! I have been using the progrid guide for over 5 years (multiple pairs) and these give me just the right amount of support. Roomy in the toe and snug in the heel just how I like them. These shoes last a long time I use them only on a treadmill, typically 15-18 miles a week. I have arthritic changes in my knees and these do a great job of keeping the soreness and impact to minimum. Lightweight too!

This is my 5th pair of Guides. Thought I could not go wrong ordering the Guide 4. Well, after only a couple of runs and less than 20 miles, the cheap mesh has multiple holes/tears. What!?? I read negative reviews about the cheaper quality of this new Guide but didnt really believe it. Well believe. My previous Saucony shoes and my other new Saucony Kinvaras are awesome so what the heck with the new Guide? I am calling customer service and hope they make it right.

I have had these shoes a week and they are already falling apart! I get a new pair of Saucony's yearly. These are the same size as my last pair, but are Guide 4, instead of Guide 3. They fit perfectly, but the fabric over my large toe in each shoe is already torn (and yes, I have short toenails). I'm very disappointed in my brand new shoes, and just may return them.

I keep trying different shoes and then coming back to this one. I am an 8.5 with a high arch and standard width foot. This is the most comfortable running shoe. No rubbing in any spots and I feel I have the support I need. Although the support is there I don't feel like it's too heavy it has a nice lightweight to it.

I also have bad knees so there are two factors that are important to me, support and also the ability to strike properly. Love it!!!

I have been searching a while for good running shoe since New Balance discontinued my favorite style. I've been through both New Balance and Brooks, but have found these to be the best for me. I have the tendency to walk and run with my feet pointed out, so I need a little stabilization when I run. I have gotten sore shins from other shoes, but not this one. After I broke them in, I've done a 5-mi road run, a 2-mi terrain run with decent incline and decline, and a 5-mi stadium run-No problems or pain yet. I find this particular shoe provides the support I need under my arch, the toe end is narrow, and my heel feels cupped. I'm confident, my feet don't have much freedom to move while I run, but just enough room to expand as I run. Additionally, they're light-weight and they breathe well. They run at least $100.00 in stores-Amazon offers them for at least $20 less.
