All in All i love these and the prior years model (even though the back heel horseshoe black rubber came apart after about a years use) they have done their job. But after buying a pair of asics nimbus 11, i can honestly say that underarmour still needs to work on the running aspects that asics is able to provide. Great shoe, just not for pure runners

I am about 6'3" and 200 lbs, and I run about 2 miles at a time. These shoes are great for my use. They are very form-fitting and the mesh breaths well. I tried on numerous pairs of shoes before deciding on these. They have a higher arch and they are very light.

These are starting to show up well under MSRP so I picked up a pair in black. This is the first pair of under armour shoes for me. My wife has had a couple pair now and she has liked them and they have held up well. The Spectre runs true to size. I wear a 12 and ordered a 12. It fits great with the upper being mostly a form fitting mesh material with a little bit of more traditional fake leather in mixed in for support and shaping of the upper. The mostly mesh upper, relatively thin fake leather combined with a sole incorporating a spot under the heel that is empty of tread, makes this a very light shoe. (The heel is supported by the sole on the outside, no pics of this on the product page so tough to describe this design feature.) I am 6'3" and about 220. I mainly run about 2 miles at a go and these shoes are perfect for that. I haven't incurred foot or back problems. I just use them for running on my treadmill, where they will last for some time. Build quailty wise (just based off feel and visual inspection) I would rate them middle of the road. Fit and finish is nice so that isn't the issue, its more the lightweight materials seem like they would be more prone to sucumming to lifes daily battering then shoes with a little more heft to them. Also from a purley visual standpoit they are a good looking shoe.
