Review of Salomon Men's Eskape GTX Hiking Shoe
the overall look and style of this "hiking shoe" is similar to the trail runner xcd-gtx but the comfort/cushion/wraparound the foot feel is not the same...being a hiking shoe i expected more cushion and support but the feel is stiff and riding high in the footbed...maybe they will break-in and feel better...i wouldnt venture beyond a wet meadow hike in these shoes...but i guess that is what i planned for them anyway...The shoe was a little tight so I gave the original pair to my son and bought a pair a half size bigger. The shoe is good quality support and not too heavy.
