Nearly all my other shoes are 10.5US Medium width mens. I bought 10.5W, 11M, and 11W, and I really need the 11W. Just now at the 50 mile point, and they feel good. They are light, stable, and feel right while striding. I wear blisters on the outer edge of my big toe, but do that in many other shoes. I can recommend these for any serious walker.Best Deals on Saucony Men's Echelon LE2 Walking Shoe
I walk trails five miles a day, six days a week. I have been walking like this for about ten years. I used to go through at least two pairs of shoes each year. My walking shoes make a big difference in my foot and leg health. I have tried a lot of shoes and these Echelon's are, by a wide margin, the best. I live in Oregon so the shoes take a beating in the rain and mud. I had the Echelon LE's before I purchase these and I use those for backups now -and they are 18 months old. The uppers did not wear out. The soles lost about 1/8" of tread -it was the insert that wore out and I replaced it with another insert. Pretty amazing. I have been wearing the LE2 for a couple of months -30 miles a week. They are even more comfortable that the LE's. I see a lot of walkers that wear running shoes or cross trainers. A good walking shoe makes all the difference in the world. I am 6'6" and weigh 235. I have had knee, back, Achilles, and plantar faceitis problems from bad shoes or shoes that wear out too fast. I know that these are expensive shoes -the best always cost a little more...Honest reviews on Saucony Men's Echelon LE2 Walking Shoe
This shoes are amazing, one of the best I have. I am big guy and they fit comfortable, no pain.I use ortopedics and they squeak a lot (I tried all remedies, talcum powder, etc. Nothing stop the noise), the sole has a squeaky noise too. So, I am twice squeaky ;)
If you weight comfort vs noise, comfort wins all the time. If you can pass the noise, then go for them.
