I typically have to size-up one-half size in Keens I'm a natural 11.5 (US) but have needed a 12 for all my previous purchases for the best fit. The Austin is different: I'm a straight-up 11.5.

I've walked miles on concrete in these shoes, and gotten no blisters or discomfort. I can't say that about my New Balance sneakers or Doc Martens. I have extremely wide and tall feet, so I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes, but these have been great. I like the way they look, too.Best Deals on KEEN Men's Austin Sneaker
I got these for my husband fro Christmas. He had worn Keen sandals previously and liked them. He is very picky about proper fit and proper arch support and his feet are very happy in these. I would recommend them especially for anyone with weak arches or anyone who stands for a large portion of the day.Honest reviews on KEEN Men's Austin Sneaker
I like the looks, wide toe box, comfort , light weight, and durability of the uppers on these shoes. The uppers take a beating and still look great. I have had three pairs and the soles on the second and third pair are not holding up like the first pair. The price came down too. Maybe Keen is going for high volume and lower quality. I use these for light construction work and casual wear and the soles are wearing faster and separating from the uppers at the glue line on the last two pairs. One reviewer said the old model was stitched and I believe it because I have no separation on the older pair. Listen Up Keen and change your methods or this guy is going shopping for another Brand. I would give these shoes 5 stars if the soles lasted more than six months. I normally get a year or more from other well made shoes.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for KEEN Men's Austin Sneaker
I have owned several pairs of different style of Keens over the years. This was my second purchase of these exact shoes, and I loved the first pair nearly literally to death. I wore the soles down to nearly nothing after two years of heavy wear daily walking on blacktop and in landscaped areas. I purchased a replacement pair and found that there was a squeak as I walked. Not just on linoleum, not just on hardwood, but on any surface other than grass or pine straw. I found that the source was not the material of the sole, but between the foot bed and the sole. I returned them thinking that it was a manufacturer defect. My replacement for those came next day from Amazon and I gave those a shot....same story. I decided that perhaps it just needed a wear in period, so I wore them for a couple of weeks, but the squeak never stopped. It became so aggravating that I decided to return them altogether and go back to pull-on boots for work.I think that Keen has started to use cheaper materials based on other recent reviews and my own experience. I think the sound I heard was where the glue had never fully adhered to the foot bed and sole, so there was rubbing between the two layers. Never the less, I won't buy another pair of Keens, although my dad will probably be buried in his Keen newport H2 sandals.
