I have a pair of waterproof siren from 3-4 years ago which I wore everyday traveling in New Zealand and Australia and loved them. However my foot has changed and my podiatrist suggested I try a wide width shoe but did not like how they fit otherwise. The shoe would deserve 5 stars if it fit correctly.

This was a vendor issue and not a product issue. I had the exact same shoe in a different pair of Siren XCR. They wore out from daily use in 6 months. I decided to replace them with a wide because it took a long time for my old pair to wear in. The box said wide however only the right shoe was wide and the left was not. I was really disappointed because there wasn't an option for a replacement product. I also want to add that these are NOT running shoes (very stiff even after 5 months of wear. They are a hiking shoe. Running would be painful in these shoes and I have never seen another pair of these shoes that said they were running shoes. I went to another site and ordered these shoes in gray and blue (a better color) in a size 10 because wide wasn't an option and they fit better even though they are a bit long. I would have kept these shoes had both been wide. I could have ordered them from Merrell for $125 but got them for $65 on another site. I was willing to pay a bit more from Amazon because I was using reward points from my Discover card. Also, the pair I got from the other site are Gortex which are perfect for the Pacific Northwest. Thankfully I returned them with no problems thanks to Amazon. I would rank Amazon's customer service a 5 star!
