I bought this item in the 7.5, as the one I had previously purchased in an 8 was a 1/2 size too big, and my foot flopped around all in the shoe when running. (My feet shrank this year... so it's probably more of my issue than the shoe not fitting properly.) This seems like a decent transition, triathlon running shoe. I'm more of a triathlon novice, so I'm rating them from a novice's standpoint. They seem easy to use.... easy to slip on and go. There seems to be enough support for running a 5K. I probably wouldn't wear them in a 10K since I have arch issues. But, I also have the lace system on my Mizuno's too... I like them both... so, I can't weigh in on whether this is better to have than just the pull laces on your regular shoes. The only other benefit would be that this is a lighter shoe.Pearl iZUMi Women's Iso Transition Running Shoe Review

SHoe is light and great looking but I ordered in my regular size and I got red marks and blisters right away. I will re-order a size up.
