Review of AVIA Men's Avi-Phase Cross-Training Shoe

This is the second pair of these shoes that have split between the sole and the upper along the joint line. Both pair have very little wear on them. The first pair was returned to place of purchase for a replacement, but the second pair had the same problem. The store in the meantime stopped carrying the brand. Would NOT recommend them.

Within a few weeks of wear, both sides of both insoles of both shoes came apart. When alerted about this problem, their customer service was very poor and ultimately unresponsive. Previously a longtime Avia customer, I would not buy their footwear again. Let the buyer beware.

I have always loved the sole design that avia uses. That hasn't changed. However after 3 months of wearing these the material around the toes gave out on both shoes where it flexes. Don't expect a long life.

I bought this pair in late spring or early summer because of good performance out of 3 previous Avia shoes. This pair came apart at the same place as others have noted. It is obviously a manufacturing problem. All I do is walk in them.

The workmanship in these shoes is some of the poorest I have seen.

I used to love Avia shoes for the fit and longevity; now they have cheapened the product.

My shoes started to split at the seam above the sole on the front of the shoe; this occurred within a couple weeks of wearing with light use. I threw the shoes in the trash and bought New Balance.

The man-made material used in the uppers of this shoe separates from the rest of the shoe and is of extremely poor quality.

Buyer beware!
