These shoes are certainly comfortable and come true to size. I bought them for hiking in the rain. So far they've been waterproof enough for me. The tongue doesn't connect to the shoe at its sides like some waterproof shoes & boots do, so this may be of interest to those wanting to walk in several inches of water with them. They do fine in tall, wet grass and in downpours though. My feet have stayed completely dry. Worth noting is that the body of the shoe is fairly stiff, so if you like wearing thin socks only, these may not be the shoes for you. They can rub some with thin socks, but don't seem to at all with medium weight socks. Also, this shoe is wedged at the back (sort of like the shoes that are supposed to give your legs a workout), so if you're used to shoes with running shoe-like stability, these may feel a bit odd at first.

They are not too cushy, firm but soft. I am in my late 50's and the right fit it critical.
I hiked for 5 hours in the rain on a trip to Italy and my feet stayed dry and happy. I ordered a new pair and may get another, just so I never have to live with out them!

These Teva's were a disappointment. One thing I love about Teva's is the wide toe box they usually have that allows for plenty of wiggle room. These shoes have a pointy toe box, like a running shoe, that squeezes my toes. Good arch support. The sole is really thick, almost two inches, which makes these look like those ridiculous sketchers toning shoes but is good for walking in shallow puddles. The waterproof factor is great for taking my dog to the park when the grass is wet or running errands in the rain but since they are low top if you step in a deep puddle water will come in from the top. A regular rain boot would be better.

If you work in a large successful florist during valentines day these are the shoes for you. Water buckets, thorns ,refrigerators...hiking and running between customers up and down stairs, my feet were warm and dry all day! They looked like new every test I put them through...loading customers cars out in the snow no problem. Love these Tevas!
