I had read in reviews that the the box is roomy, or I would have never ordered them.
If you have narrow feet, and/or don't mind your toes being crammed together not able to splay while running, you may not mind these shoes. You may also like Nikes and Pumas in this case.
After two months in Altra Torin shoes that have a crazy roomy toe box, my toes got used to space and freedom, and these shoes did not provide that, unfortunatley.
I can't even comment on the sole, because I just could not wait to get the shoes off my feet again.
Too bad! They look great, and I was excited to try out this new technology maybe at some point, more shoe companies will look at how feet are shaped and try to shape their shoes after our feet.
I rate them 2 stars, one for beng innovative, and one for the pretty look.
