While I liked the shoe and it's features, the shoe ran small. I wear a 11 and Merrell's sizing seemed short in comparision to other makers fit.

I bought these needing a good hiking shoe for a recent trip to the Yorkshire Dales, England. They provided waterproof comfort and my feet stayed warm and dry during several wet hikes. My only reason for not giving them a full five star rating is their traction is not the best on wet or slightly icy surfaces. The fit is true to size and I found them to be very comfortable with a medium hiking sock.

This shoe looks really feminine on here, but not when you get it home. I was looking for a neutral shoes to wear on our 2 weeks in Europe. It was neutral, but the colors are a bit darker than what you see. That being said, they fit well and were very comfortable. Seem stiff at first, but this offers superior support for lots of walking!

After returning 2 pairs of Siren shoes, this one with Gortex, which was too stiff allover. a regular siren sport which was too tight and had a seam that rubbed, I bought a pair of the siren sport locally. I had to try on several pair of each to settle on one which was comfortable. I have had this shoe before and was happy. Wish I could still buy siren synch, which was perfect for me. The siren sport is a little lacking in cushioning underfoot, so a added a thin gel insole, and now I am happy.
