My 5yo loves them. They are bright and colorful enough to make my little girl love them. With the light up toes though, WOW! The lights are absurdly bright, and the only word that comes to mind is "BLING". They are almost blinding in dim lighting (She has to take them off inside, because I can't stand it) She loves them though, and that's what matters! I printed the sketchers sizing chart off their website, and measured on that. I got the next size up from what it said she was, and it gave us nearly a perfect "extra thumb" length in the shoe.

I got these for my five year old who started in kindergarten a month ago. and that's pretty much how long they last...really cute shoes and she loves them. but somehow in one month the sparkles fell, the bottom broke..

Well, the lights are still bright and I will let her continue wearing them until they totally fall apart.

I may still buy something look like these in the future but won't pay $40 for a pair of shoes that only last a month.

These were a birthday gift for my sweet granddaughter who turned 6. She lives in California, so I didn't get to physically see them on her, but Mom says they twinkle so much!! I got an instant picture of her wearing them immediately so I think they were definitely a hit.....I would've given 5 stars, but since I didn't really see them lighting or twinkling, I thought it only fair....but she really seemed happy with the shoes!
