i've actually purchased 2 of these shoes in different colors. they've gotten me through 2 half marathons. they are pretty comfortable shoes for running...walking is a different story. the tread is not extremely thick. i was running about 25 miles a week within a 6 month period hence why i bought 2 pairs. overall though...i would recommend this shoe.

I am an avid hiker, walker and tourist and was looking for some shoes to support my very high arches and be comfortable enough to wear on a good long days walking.

These fit the bill perfectly (not to mention they were a warehouse deal!) These are very comfy and supportive. I walked all day in them and had no blisters, no rubbing, no sore feet...I was so surprised I didn't even have to break them in! They have moderate arch support (that is 50 times more then most running shoes have) that kept my arches supported all day without soreness. In addition, the mesh tops vent quite well and kept my feet nice and dry all day. They have good grip and tread so you don't feel like your feet will come out from underneath you.

They ft true to the size (I wear a 7.5 and got a 7.5 and they fit like a glove). In addition, they are very durable so far they have held up to weeks of being walked in daily and still look brand new! I also love the color....black with red is snazzy enough to wear them with jeans and have them not look like grungy running shoes from your high school track team.
