I bought these as my fist pair of shoes to go with my clipless pedals. I had tried on other shoes at the bike store and found them to be very uncomfortable. These, on the other hand, are superbly comfortable.

I had to problem installing the cleats-it only took about five minutes. These shoes are SPD (2 bolt pattern) compatible.

I usually wear a size 8.5 in athletic shoes and I ordered a size 41. They fit perfectly.

Pearl iZUMi, you need to redo your sizing on these shoes! US size may be correct but the EU numbers are wrong! I'm an European and a solid 36 all my adult life. When I unpacked the shoes I could see they were too small even before trying them on. And I was right, they were really tight. Back these go to exchange for a 37. I'm hoping those will be the right ones. The shoes look legit and I'm expecting to get the right fit now to actually be able to try them on my spinning bike and have the final say. But please you nice cycling brand, you can do better sizing than this and save the costumers all the hassle of exchanging shoes all the time!

Every style of shoes by Pearl iZUMi has been too small.

I've had to order 1 full size larger.

Unfortunately, not all of their shoe styles come large enough for me (size W.-10) and I've had to resort to a mens shoe.

The quality of the shoes is great though.

They're snug and have the right cushioning so that the pedals don't dig into my instep. I love the color, too!
