I always buy a size 6 for footwear, but I bought the studded moccasins in size 5 since I already own the Minnetonka kilty moccasins in the same size. I really recommend going down one whole size. I've had my old pair for over a year now and they STRETCH over time. Size 5 in the studded pair is still a bit loose. If you pay close attention the laces make up one single strand that goes around the back, which lets you tighten the shoe. For my old pair I untied the laces and pulled on them until they were the tightest they can be and tied the laces back in place. I did the same with my new pair and that helped a lot. The studs on top do not poke my feet and seems very durable. They add a nice flair compared to my old pair.

I am a university student and I wear my moccasins with jeans, leggings, and cardigans at least 4 times a week. They are so much more comfy than sneakers, hence why I wear them so many times! The suede quality for Minnetonka moccasins is excellent and so is the colour, which has not faded on my old pair. Make sure you avoid wet spots on the sidewalk because the colour will bleed from what I've been told. I cannot vouch for that though because I don't wear these on rainy days. The first couple of times the colour inside will get on your feet, but it goes away. Overall, I love my moccasins and will buy a pair in the Thunderbird II style.

I have these in black and I wear them all the time. I have wide feet and they are so comfortable. I usually wear a size 8 1/2 but needed just an 8 with these. Very cute, too! I want the brown ones and now I see purple! Maybe! You will love these shoes almost too much. Your other shoes will get jealous!

These moccasins are very comfortable, well-made and unique. If you carefully pull the suede tie through the holes you will find that it does travel around the shoe's edge and you really can tighten up the fit significantly. Mine fit well after I did that and they have not gotten loose.

I ordered this shoe in the Dusty Brown size 7.5.

This is a great, comfortable shoe but runs absolutely gigantic. After reading the other reviews I ordered a half size smaller than my usual (size 8) but the 7.5 was practically falling off my foot. I then returned the shoes and ordered a size 7 which was also huge. I have now ordered a size 6.5 and am hoping for the best. I love these shoes..they are so cute and will go with everything. I have been told by friends who own the shoe that it is important for the shoe to fit a little snug because the leather will stretch out and mold to your feet over time. I highly recommend this shoe but you should absolutely order at least one size smaller than you usually wear.

I had bought these moccasins without the studs, but then saw these and immediately returned the others. What was strange was that the pair without the studs were a size 8 1/2 and fit perfectly. I bought these in an 8 1/2 and they were too big. I had read the reviews that said they ran big, I wear an 8 1/2 to a nine, so that is why I ordered the smaller size. Had to return them for an 8. I have Minnetonka shearling moccasins in a nine and they fit well, so.... But they are so cute, the studs really add an element of style that appeals to me, they are comfortable and the dusty brown is a color that I find goes with everything I wear. I love them and definitely recommend them if you are looking for a casual shoe to wear with jeans, shorts or even a skirt.
