I ordered the wrong size of this product, but even if it had fit I'm not sure I would keep it. This is not a sneaker, it is more like a croc in terms of weight and feel. There is no way I would use this product outside of summer time and it does not feel like it would hold up well. Very "plasticky" feeling. The synthetic leather upper looks more like plastic. It looks like a good durable shoe in the picture but when you get it in person, it feels and looks flimsy. Very disappointed.

Vivobarefoot Women's Ultra Pure Running Shoe Reviews

Pros: I love vivo shoes and have a pair of Breatho trails that I wear whenever I can. I got these for gardening and dog walking on hot days when you need something more stable than thongs but just as cool. These are good for both those activities.

Cons: I've worn these on the beach and they're not great water shoes because the drainage holes are all on the top of the shoe. This means that once you've stepped in water, an inch of water stays sitting in the bottom of the shoe. The holes also let a lot of sand a grit in which can be very uncomfortable.

I've edited this review and changed it from 4 to 5 stars. They're still not good beach shoes but I've been using them for almost everything else through the Australian Summer running, gym, etc and I love them. I'm wearing them even more that my vivo brethos. They lose points for fashion because they look like crocks but they're the most comfortable summer shoes ever. I often wear them with ordinary cotton sports socks unless it's very hot.

I saw these in the " SKY MALL" on an airplane. They haunted me & eventhough I DID NOT write the info at the time, when i got home I HUNTED amazon for hours until I found them!!! EVERY time I wear them I get comments. They are REALLY cool & DIFFERENT. SUPER light & comfy. The only complaint I have is that they are VERY WIDE & run large ( I wear a 61/27 but because of the customer reviews I got a 6, which fits well EXCEPT that they R WIDE.) I'm not a fan of the clunky crock look, but I really like them A LOT anyway. They R great on the kyak, & anywhere around water. Cute & FUN. A great buy!!!!!

These shoes are exactly what they claim. Barefoot...really just vented protection that feels like you're running without shoes. If you require more cushioning and/or arch support, you should probably look elsewhere. I bought them for a mud run next month since they're made of rubber. I have run in them and liked how they feel, plus the holes are great for ventilation. I wear nice running socks with them for a little extra cushioning.

Minnetonka Women's Studded Moccasin Review

I always buy a size 6 for footwear, but I bought the studded moccasins in size 5 since I already own the Minnetonka kilty moccasins in the same size. I really recommend going down one whole size. I've had my old pair for over a year now and they STRETCH over time. Size 5 in the studded pair is still a bit loose. If you pay close attention the laces make up one single strand that goes around the back, which lets you tighten the shoe. For my old pair I untied the laces and pulled on them until they were the tightest they can be and tied the laces back in place. I did the same with my new pair and that helped a lot. The studs on top do not poke my feet and seems very durable. They add a nice flair compared to my old pair.

I am a university student and I wear my moccasins with jeans, leggings, and cardigans at least 4 times a week. They are so much more comfy than sneakers, hence why I wear them so many times! The suede quality for Minnetonka moccasins is excellent and so is the colour, which has not faded on my old pair. Make sure you avoid wet spots on the sidewalk because the colour will bleed from what I've been told. I cannot vouch for that though because I don't wear these on rainy days. The first couple of times the colour inside will get on your feet, but it goes away. Overall, I love my moccasins and will buy a pair in the Thunderbird II style.

I have these in black and I wear them all the time. I have wide feet and they are so comfortable. I usually wear a size 8 1/2 but needed just an 8 with these. Very cute, too! I want the brown ones and now I see purple! Maybe! You will love these shoes almost too much. Your other shoes will get jealous!

These moccasins are very comfortable, well-made and unique. If you carefully pull the suede tie through the holes you will find that it does travel around the shoe's edge and you really can tighten up the fit significantly. Mine fit well after I did that and they have not gotten loose.

I ordered this shoe in the Dusty Brown size 7.5.

This is a great, comfortable shoe but runs absolutely gigantic. After reading the other reviews I ordered a half size smaller than my usual (size 8) but the 7.5 was practically falling off my foot. I then returned the shoes and ordered a size 7 which was also huge. I have now ordered a size 6.5 and am hoping for the best. I love these shoes..they are so cute and will go with everything. I have been told by friends who own the shoe that it is important for the shoe to fit a little snug because the leather will stretch out and mold to your feet over time. I highly recommend this shoe but you should absolutely order at least one size smaller than you usually wear.

I had bought these moccasins without the studs, but then saw these and immediately returned the others. What was strange was that the pair without the studs were a size 8 1/2 and fit perfectly. I bought these in an 8 1/2 and they were too big. I had read the reviews that said they ran big, I wear an 8 1/2 to a nine, so that is why I ordered the smaller size. Had to return them for an 8. I have Minnetonka shearling moccasins in a nine and they fit well, so.... But they are so cute, the studs really add an element of style that appeals to me, they are comfortable and the dusty brown is a color that I find goes with everything I wear. I love them and definitely recommend them if you are looking for a casual shoe to wear with jeans, shorts or even a skirt.

I love these shoes and, they are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I have hardwoods throughout my home and even though some house shoes are comfortable when I first put them on, after a few hours it feels like there really isn't much of anything between my feet and the floor. I was in a very bad auto accident and my right foot, ankle and heel were crushed. Obviously, I had many surgeries to reconstruct my foot. In addition, I had nerve damage from the crush injury. I can wear these shoes all day and my feet are still comfortable. You must know this is saying a lot! Very flimsy. Sole started coming off after 1 week, the seam in the back started coming apart at 2 weeks. I would have felt ripped off if these cost $10, let alone more than twice that. I recommend that you look elsewhere for a pair of slippers.

These were comfortable AND CUTE! BUT...they were extremely lightweight and not sturdily made. As I checked out the workmanship, I felt that they would not stand up to what I personally needed from them.

If you need a slipper that isn't soft and fuzzy-lined, not heavy on your feet, and comfy/good fit...these are for you.

But if you desire something with more "soft" on the inside and something that will last...then I don't recommend.

The outside of these slippers is great. After wearing the slippers for only one month tho, the inside bottom sole pulled out and is uncomfortable. When you slip your feet inside, the material bunches up inside on the bottom of your feet. Otherwise, they would be comfortable with the soft sole on the inside.

Got a pair of these for Christmas. Wish we'd known, these don't have a fur lining (natural or man-made) or even token arch support. The inner lining is cloth, not fluffy and not particularly warm. The sole is flat, almost stiff. There's a strip of fur edging the opening, but no fur material inside. Basically I need to wear socks with these to keep my feet warm. I wear a women's size 11, which these are, but these are cavernously large and threaten to flip off my feet as I walk. These may be well-made, but the feel isn't 'warm and cozy'.

I got these shoes from a local store at around the same price. I will be ordering another pair because I am picky when it comes to shoes. I paid more than the current price for my size (77.99). I feel that they run true to size and are so comfortable. They are very light shoes which is great, but have a lot of stability when running. I prefer to run cross country rather than on the road and these work great. As far as the term breathe I cannot agree more. I wore these on a cold day and wow they really do breathe a lot. When I run in them they keep my feet nice and cool, and it really is the first pair that i noticed how much they breathe.

All in all great shoes and so far they seem durable. I would recommend these shoes, and I will probably grab another pair probably from Amazon this time before they do not have anymore.

My son always have issues with sneakers because he complains that his right toes always hurt after a few wears. We tried getting wide width but even that doesn't work. These shoes arrived yesterday and he loved that they were red. I loved that they were adjustable with the 2 Velcro straps for him to adjust the right side. It was also roomy enough that there were no complaints! He wore them all day and is very excited to show them off to friends today. We are both very happy with the purchase. PediPeds were be best shoes when my son was learning to walk. I thought these shoes would be good quality as well. I was wrong. The initial construction is shoddy... misaligned seams etch. Then the shoes started separating in multiple areas. DC and Converse shoes held up much better than these. I was hoping these had better support and orthopedic design. Waste of money.

These red/white shoes were a really good buy so I was going to save them for next summer. However, I've decided to return them. As soon as I opened them, my husband said that they were too ugly to wear. I don't think they're that bad for summer, but I did not like the thick sole on the shoes. The child's foot is raised significantly off the ground in these shoes when compared to other shoes like Stride Rite. I did like the flex system though. You get an extra insert to put under the existing insert. It's supposed to make the shoes fit tighter so that you can then remove it as the foot grows and get more wear from the shoes. I'm not sure how well it works, but it's a nice idea anyway.

I didn't realize pediped had bigger sizes, so I was extremely excited to see them appear in a search for tennis shoes when looking for my 4yo son. I also ordered the Stride Rite Bruce Sneaker (Little Kid) at the same time just so I could be sure I was picking the best shoe. (Also, my son has always had kind of thick feet and not all pre-laced shoes fit him or go on easy enough.)

My first thought was WOW they are super lightweight--tennis shoes have come a LONG way (or maybe just compared to the Target-brand tennis shoes he had before.) The Stride Rite were also very light...so the test came in putting them on. And, as I mostly expected, the pediped won out easily...the elastic pre-laced laces of the Stride Rite just did not easily accommodate my son's thick foot. The pedipeds, with the dual velcro straps, was a cinch--and my son can easily put them on by himself.

He loves them and calls them his Hotwheels shoes because they go fast! He also says they're good at stopping! :)

I'd definitely recommend these shoes.

I bought this shoe at a well known warehouse club for a substantially lower price while on a business trip. From the initial fit to my first workout to a long plane ride home, these shoes were GREAT!!!! These shoes were so comfortable that when I got home, I went to that same warehouse club in my hometown and bought a second pair in a different color. Having never worn Fila before, I am very impressed by their shoes. Typically, I wear a New Balance size 12 4E and with Fila I wear with great comfort a 12 D. In fact these shoes are more comfortable than a pair of New Balance bought 2 months ago.

I have now purchased two pairs of this shoe, one from another seller and the second from Amazon. First let me say that I love the fit it cradles the foot nicely without being too tight. When my first pair started to come apart on the outside of the shoe where the foot creases during push off, I thought, "Well, I've put in 400 or so tough trail miles with a lot of climbing, I guess that's enough. Prior to these, I had had a pair of Montrail Mountain Masochists that I must have put 800 1,000 miles on! Too many I know, but they lasted really well. I ordered a second pair of Fluidfeels as they fit so comfortably, and these ones have split in exactly the same place on the outside at the foot crease. Except these ones have done no more than 250 miles. That's just not enough out of a shoe, especially when I am already going through a pair of shoes every couple of months with high mileage. So, 2 stars for very poor value for an otherwise comfortable shoe.

First let me sayI love these shoes.

They have great cushion and grip. I've ran in rain, snow, mud, etcthey stood up to everything and performed well. They do well on moderately technical trails and long stretches of road/ hard packed trail. Comfortable all over with plenty of room in the toe boxnever felt stiff like trail shoes sometimes do. Could not ask for more.

But...

6 months into having these shoes and running in them once to twice a weekthe upper near pinky toe area blew out completely. tried patching them up with some moleskin but it was a no go. I had to talk to local run store I bought them at and luckily got a new pair. I also agree somewhat with what the previous poster said about the construction of the inner. There were definitely some rough spots. Felt like some of the stiff plastic was uncovered. I took the laces out and trimmed it down and never had an issue.

Bottom line: great shoe that has it's issues. I hope the next version has some improvements in the areas I mentionedneeds more of a focus on quality. Gave it three stars because no shoe should blow out after six months of moderate wear.

This is a nicely made shoe with good volume in the toe box. The sole is a dense, light, blown rubber running from heal to toe. The top of the shoe is a weave which allows the foot to breath. There is a good solid feel with the ground. This is increased by the heal to toe elevation which is very moderate. Styling is good and it appears a quality shoe. I returned the shoe because its straight design did not accommodate my pronation and I was looking for a more active sole. If your looking for a rather traditional sneaker feel to your shoe I would give these a try.

As soon as I put these highly rated shoes on my immediate impression was these are the worst feeling shoes I have ever put on. What is wrong? What is wrong is that the tongue is poorly designed and sewed onto the inside of the shoe so that it digs into the top side of your foot. The material is not finished and it is very rough. Thicker socks help somewhat, but.

Not only were these shoes mad in China but they must have been designed there too.

I am a beginning runner, and run on the treadmill four times a week. I ran in them the first time I put them on, and they felt great! They do have a padded insert that easily can be removed if you like more minimalist shoes. They are super light on your feet. I highly recommend.

The colors of these sneakers are really nice in person and they were very comfortable. However my big toe was pressed up against the front of the shoe. I always wear a size 7 in sneakers but in this case I'll be exchanging for the 7 1/2.

**The 7 1/2 fits perfectly and I've been wearing these to the gym for aerobics classes as well as zumba. They are very comfortable and my feet never hurt during or after exercise. They have good ventilation in the toe area which is great when you are working out or when its hot out. I made the mistake of wearing them to my kids bus stop on a 15 degree day and my feet felt that cold air. Certainly not a negative for the shoe, just chose to wear them in the wrong conditions. Compared to other sneakers that cost upwards of $100 I think these are a steal!

I had to exchange for a half size bigger than normal and they are a wee bit roomy but oh so light and comfortable. Support is also on the light side compared to my Asics Cross trainers because of less firm ribbing at the arch. But for all round comfort and getting the job done they are great! Lovely shade of navy and just enough accent bling to be edgy without overpowering!The fact that I went to the trouble of exchanging them proves they are keepers.

These are very comfortable and my feet didn't hurt after my run. My feet usually start to feel a little raw by the end of the run, but not with these. Has nice soft cushioning, light, and not stiff. I wear a size 8 and these fit like a size 8. I will buy from RYKA again.

Got my second pair of Ryka Aspire today. :-)

The first pair I wore out wearing to work. I'm on my feet all day long and with these shoes I didn't have feet or leg pain. They are super lightweight & I love the colors (mauve, white, lime). They fit my feet perfectly with the narrow heal & wide toebox, no sliding up & down on my foot when I walk. I did get 1/2 size larger because I wear them with socks. I got the Brown/Black/White version, and it is more brown than black. Also the lines and the outline of the N are pink even though they look whitish in the picture. I like the look of these shoes anyway, but if you don't like shoes that are too girly, you might want to pass on these. I usually wear size 5.5, and the length of these shoes were just right. However, they are a bit narrow. My feet are on the wide side, but I usually fit in the standard width. However, I ordered the wide version after reading the other reviews, and they fit well.

I've only worn these on the treadmill since it's been freezing outside since I got these shoes. They work pretty well for treadmill running. A word of caution if you want to run outside during the winter you will slip if you're running on an icy sidewalk after it's been snowing outside. I almost fell a couple of times just walking on the icy sidewalks near my apartment. I have walking shoes that have better traction.

I like New Balance shoes, but these ones were the worst ones I've bought. After about 3 months of moderate wear (only walking, not jogging or running), both shoes ripped in the same spot by where the ankle meets the shoe. They didn't last long at all. I wouldn't recommend these shoes.

This is very convenient to have--especially with rapidly growing, small children! It is so much easier to measure their feet at home and go to the store when they actually do need new shoes (or just buy them online). I got tired of hauling them in to the store to have their feet measured each change of season, so I got this and I'm REALLY glad I did! It is solid metal and comes with very clear, simple instructions. After reading them, I realized that most sales associates DO NOT use it properly! They are supposed to measure not only the length, but the arch length using the small piece that slides up and down the side, and take the GREATER of the two measurements as the correct shoe size. When this is not done, it can cause the toes to grow crooked and bend turned in on eachother rather than grow straight. There are very clear illustrations of this in the instructions. Whenever I have brought my toddlers in, the sales associates have always just measured according to the length only. The directions caution against doing that, as it is not an accurate measure for the correct shoe size, and may cause the toes to grow crooked. There is also a moving piece that determines the proper width.

The junior Brannock device is made of metal and easy to use. My toddler thinks it is a torture device at the shoe store, but having it at home, she wants her feet measured every day! This is a huge help to have at home as I typically buy shoes from Zappos and now I can just measure her at home instead of dragging her to the store. Also, the instructions had 2 different measurements that you are supposed to take to determine the appropriate shoe size, which surprised me because I've never seen a shoe salesperson actually take both measurements!
