I am a huge Asics fan and waited months for the Gel Synthesis to arrive, but I was disappointed. The concept is great, but the removable sock and shoe just don't feel right together. I wanted a multi-purpose Crossfit shoe, but this was not the one for me. The idea has potential but they need to perfect it before releasing to market. I exchanged these for the Inov-8 F-Lite 232 and they are amazing.ASICS Men's Gel-Synthesis Cross-Training Shoe Review

I am so glad I decided to go with Asics on a cross-training shoe. I've had a great experience with my Gel Nimbus 12 running shoes, so I had pretty expectations for these shoes. The fit is spot on for me at size 13, and cushioning/support provided by these shoes goes much further than the Under Armour cross-trainers I am giving up on. My feet were great through the full round of Insanity I did in the UA's, but since starting FocusT25, my feet feel like they did when I started Insanity without the cross trainers. The laces are similar to the system on my Keen shoes, so no traditional laces. They work fine for me as long as I cinch them down properly. Similar to any shoelaces in that regard. Overall I impressed with the fit and the styling. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a good cross training shoe.
