I have been searching forever for the right travel sneakers. I hate sneakers. But I travel quite a bit and wanted something that would be sufficent in those situations where there is something cool to walk to or a local nature trail or I got the wild hair for a casual jog or to hit the hotel treadmill. But I don't want to dedicate half of my carry on to it. And these fit that bill. I can even go without socks without creating permanent stank because of the mesh. I do wear socks if I am really exerting much effort, though. The only reason I gave these four stars is because I hated the turquoise trim and stitching, and if they were all black, I could truly get double duty out of them and wear them in more casual business casual situations. I did cover a lot of it up with fabric marker but still don't like the color in the sole, because I prefer to carry on, which means travel light, which means everything has to have multiple uses.

These shoes are super comfortable, cute, perfect for fatigued feet/legs after a good workout, and sized perfectly. The soles are wide and that makes the foot look shorter-always nice for us large-footed gals. The tongue has a little pocket you can tuck the toggle into, which is un unexpected plus and improves the overall appearance from what is shown in the product photos. The blue is nice and bright and really perks up the black. Overall an excellent shoe!
