I started my running with some cheap Dick's brand and then went to a running store and was fitted with the Avia Rythm, which I liked. Those were discontinued and my feet were not happy with it's Avia replacement but then Avia saw the light and came up with these, which are very close to the Rythm and my feet are happy again.

I bought these shoes after contacting Avia directly concerning finding a replacement shoe for a discontinued model. They replied promptly and with several options. I selected this shoe and have found it to be an exact fit and support model for the originals, with better soles and uppers. I'll be back.
