The Mexico 66 is a great sneaker that goes with just about everything. It has a fantastic timeless look. The one thing that is a bit disappointing is the sole of the shoe. It wore down a bit quicker than other shoes I've owned, owing to the fact that it is made with a non-vulcanized rubber sole

Really nice looking, low profile tennies. The black is actually almost a super dark charcoal gray. Comfortable right out of the box, not the best arch support but still okay. These obviously are not spectacular in rain/mud due to the felt. They don't soak up rain as much as I thought they would though.

I love these shoes but there is one thing about them that really bugs me. The tongue doesn't have anything holding it in place and so it slides over and shows my socks a lot. The comfort is great its just this one cosmetic issue that keeps me from wearing them everyday. The no laces version Onitsuka Tiger Men's Mex 66 Slip-On CV Sneaker has a little piece of elastic that keeps the tongues in place so they always look great. I think I can modify them slightly to keep the tongue from wandering around but I haven't tried it in the 7 months I've owned them.

I love the Onitsuka Tiger shoes. I have 3 pairs now but this is my first pair of Mexico 66's and I love them. Sadly they get dirty very easily. They are made out of a sweatpants kind of material that are hard to clean if you get them dirty and on a gray shoe it can be very noticeable. The price is right though, so grab a pair and stay out of the mud!
