I'm a huge Salomon fan anyway so I was expecting big things from these shoes. They're fabulous in most ways. Grip is good, even on wet slimy surfaces, they're quick drying and they look good. I do find that the heel clasp slips a little. I usually have to reach down and tighten them every few minutes. Fine when bike riding, a bit annoying when bushwalking.
They also don't have the arch support that most of their other shoes do. Having said that, it was easy enough to take the insoles out of an old pair and slot them in. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a heavy duty amphibious shoe.

These were just as I had expected. They are a bit heavy and hard for running but fantastic for walking long distances. They are very sturdy and since there is very good cushioning at the front half of the shoes, the feet don't get too tired. Great for both walking in the city and hiking in the mountains.

I have an older variety of this same shoe...they are worn I wanted to update. These aren't the same. The backs don't flip down as nicely, like they maybe aren't meant to, even though they are. I don't wear my old ones in the water, just a great all around town shoe (airport too), you can slip on. Anyway, this "shrew" color was really ugly. I returned them without hesitation. Blech. Guess I will keep the old ones a little longer.

But they didn't adjust at all according to size. Meaning, I ordered a size 6, so the bottom fit, but the backs and side were still really high. They're supposed to be water shoes, but you couldn't possibly wear them without socks. I got blisters just from walking back and forth between rooms to show them to my husband.

I usually wear 7,5 and this fit great.... I like it, its desing and feeling... I receive the item on time and all was good
