Very comfortable and feels light on my feet.

I like the hint of gold.

One complaint is that if there is any moisture on a smooth surface, I start slipping a bit as I walk. Great on any other dry surface however.

The shoe string loop broke as a tightened up these shoes for the very first time. I like the look and wished they had been better quality. Puma usually does better.

Decent shoe that wears out pretty quickly so don't expect them to stay "fresh". They'll be looking pretty crumby following about 4 months of almost everyday wear. They also don't provide a lot of arch support, so this isn't the right shoe to wear if you're going to be walking long distances.

This is my second pair of Ultimate 81's. The first lasted my a couple of years before they finally wore out. Definitely would not recommend these for running as they don't have much support but for walking, running errands, etc., they are great and they look even more cute in person. You also get an extra pair of laces in another color which is a nice bonus. I find them to run pretty true to size, I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 and the 9 fits perfectly.

This was my first pair of Onitsuka Tiger shoes. I heard a lot of good reviews and I see a lot of people about town wearing these, so I decided to give them a try since the price was low enough. I have to say that these fit better than the ones I tried in a local store. The support was much better than anticipated. I have huge, wide feet, so was worried these would be too tight. But they fit perfect. I have to say I am impressed and will probably buy another pair in the near future depending how well they wear and tear over time.

Helloe Im a big fan of addidas but the design on this pair of shoes totally sucks the hollowed out bottom in the tread of the shoe collects rocks galore .So does the pattern on the bottom of the shoe it works like a funnel and rock just slide right into the bottom of the shoe .So if I want to keep the shoes when I come back to the states I have to find a way to get all the rocks out of the shoe.since customs wont allow for sand dirt or unpollished rocks to come back traveling.I have allways had luck with marathon 10 shoes but these shoes look nice but are a design flaw!

The most exciting pair of shoes I've ever owned

The Nike Free 5.0 has had many comments in my experience with them, including: lightweight, cool, expensive, comfy, and even swagalicious. These shoes have more than style, though. They have a very flexible bottom that is great for running. They also have great arch support, but yes, they are expensive. At $85, it's a big price to pay, but I say it's mostly worth it. They have been some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, and some of the most stylish. They have helped the arch in my feet, as well as other places. I would highly recommend them, but only if you're willing to pay the high price. Overall, I would rate these shoes at 4.5 stars.

I had knee and back problems every couple of months after getting a new pair of running shoes. I was 220 lbs and a very heavy footed runner. I purchased these shoes last May and I still run in them consistently. I am under 200lbs mostly due to fact that my knees and back do not bother me anymore. I recommend these shoes to anyone. You may not be able to dunk a basketball or run like a gazelle from your springs, but they definitely help your aches and pains.

First off, let me cut to the chase and say I LOVE this shoe. It is quite impressive how today's shoes just beats running shoes from a few years ago (and the "old" style still being sold today). I wanted a shoe that was very light weight and encouraged minimalist/barefoot running style BUT still have cushioning to my feet--otherwise my ankle and knee joints take a beating. Some makers have minimalist shoes that care comfortable but no real cushioning (FiveFingers, NB MT101, etc.). I ended up getting the highly rated Nike Free Run+ 3 and a pair of Reebok Realflex Transition shoes. They are almost like twins and I love them both.

Reebok RealFlex transitions

-look absolutely fantastic (I have black/gray with orange soles)!

-very comfortable

-soles are very flexible and have great cushioning.

-lightweight compared to regular running shoes

-uppers a little more durable than Free Run+

Nike Free Run+ 3

-uppers are kind of stretchy and formfitting--super comfortable.

-look a little dorky because the sole has slits and does trap debris at times.

-super lightweight!!!

-soles are very flexible with great cushioning

Both shoes cost about the same and it would be hard to pick one or the other depending on personal preferences--I am glad I have both and it will be interesting to see which performs better over the long haul and has the greater durability. Either would be a safe bet though and miles better than the "old" style shoes I wore before. Right now, if I had to pick one, it would be the Reebok's because they look so much better, have a little better cushioning, and debris doesn't get trapped in the sole cracks like with the Nike.

NOTE: for both shoes, I had to get a 1/2 size larger because they run a little small (the reebok less so than the nike). For me that meant Mens 12 instead of 11.5 I normally buy.

Great running shoes. Nice light weight, comfortable and durable. I've been training for a marathon in these shoes, and i'm very impressed. I've ran on slippery roads, on dirt and on trails as well. The Nodes or traction on your shoes is great. Feels good if you land on your the ball of your foot or even the heel of your foot on each impact. I would recommend these shoes to any runner.

I wanted a new cross training shoe for the gym. I am not a runner, I bike, row, get on the elliptical and lift a bit of weights. No one seems to carry cross trainers anymore, you either have to buy heavy running shoes for $100+ or buy a "CrossFit" shoe for $100+.

I came across this shoe after some time on Amazon.com and various other "cheap" shoe websites. I did not buy this to be my everyday walking around shoe, this is for 3-4 gym sessions a week. The price was so right that I was a bit nervous about the quality. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the weight (light), breath ability (good) and overall look (very cool).

I have had them for 2 months and they are still holding up. The great part is if they do start to come apart I can get another pair for less than $70. If you are concerned about quality because of the low price remember, if you want an everyday running shoe this is not your best option. If you want a gym shoe pull the trigger.

I loved the first style of these that came out a year or two ago. I bought these to replace that worn out pair, I can't stand them. I bought the exact same size as my pair of the initial size (which was already 1/2 size bigger than I normally wear) and they don't fit right. Feel wider and shorter. Don't like the new upper either, it doesn't breath as well. In my old flex's I could feel the wind blow through the shoes which was nice, not in these. They also are not as flexible as the originals, I think it again is problem with the uppers. The sole feels the same cushion wise. The old flex's I would do 3 day mountain hikes with and my feet would never hurt or smell. Thirty minutes in these and my feet both hurt and smell, I've never had foot odor problems before.

I wore them for about a month hoping they just needed to be broken in. They never got better, i'm very disappointed because I loved the original flex's

True to size. I am wearing 7.5 Nike and Saucony, these are 7.5 too, fits very well. But this pair of shoes made my feet felt very hot and wet. Don't know if it's the problem of material. But I'll see later.

We play football every week so I don't use it regularly. It was pretty tight the first time I wore it but it does loosens up with every usage. It's a pretty Fancy design but you can actually feel the cleats underneath your foot as you are running. It's only 30 bucks so I cant expect the comfort level of an Adidas costing 200 or something but bottom line, for the money, its totally worth it.

Review of Salomon Women's XT Wings 3 Trail Running Shoe

If your doing a mud run/obstacle course, you'll often hear people tell you to just use an old pair of running shoes. I guess that's ok, but I decided to try this Salomon shoe and I am so glad I did. When others were having serious trouble running up a muddy hill I ran up without any real problem.

The only difficulty was the lace release when they were all full of mud at the end of the event that was somewhat problematic for me but perhaps it was because I was inexperienced with the release. The shoes cleaned up with no problem and there is no "smell" that everyone warned about with their recommendations to use an old pair of running shoes. I can't wait for my next "mudder"!

Tried them out this weekend for a 2 hour off trail run through rain and mud. Overall I liked them, for a first run.

The good: great grip in terrible conditions, solid but light feeling, like the no-tie laces.

The not so good: felt a bit tight across the arch and the toes (while there was enough room to move in the length). I released the laces a bit to relieve this but ended up getting a blister under my foot and a bit of heel lift.

I am not sure if tightness/ blister is because I used these shoes in a 2 hour run or if I had the laces too tight/not tight enough.

Was looking for a shoe to wear to Nicaragua. Salomon was suggested by two people. I normally wear a 7 or 7.5. Ordered a 7 and it fits just fine. Needed no break in. I even tested by wearing it without socks for two days. Took the shoes on a wildflower pilgrimage in West Virginia to see how it did on trails. Solid footing even when wet. Dries quickly. I wasn't thrilled about the color, but have gotten a lot of compliments.

I bought these shoes about a year ago as a beginner runner (15-20 miles/per week)...and have run in them mostly for training, 5K and 5-mile courses. Most of my running is on pavement/tracks. I have a history of plantar fasciatis and intermittent outer foot pain. These shoes have been wonderful and my foot feels fully supported, with plenty of room in the toe box and no rubbing/chafing around the ankles. I have not had any foot pain or difficulty. They are comfortable and light weight. It was recommended that I replace them after about 500 miles of running. I will be replacing them with the same shoe. I recommend them for the beginner/intermediate runner or if you just want shoe that provides you with good arch support.

I purchased these to use with crank bros candy pedals and they work excellent. The problem is the sizing on these shoes. I wear a 13 in boots usually and 13 to 14 in athletic shoes. I ordered the largest at 48 and my toe is almost touching the end. The 48 lists as a 15d but is closer to a 12 imo. So the sizing listed on the amazon page is wayyyy off and the sizing on the manufacturers page listed it as a 13 to 13.5. They will work ok being smallish for bike shoes for me but keep that in mind for ordering.

The shoes themselves are amazingly lightweight and very comfortable. They breathe enough but wont freeze you instantly when it cools off since the venting is mainly on top. Without cleats they could make decent running shoes.

My son wears orthotics and we have a hard time finding a shoe for little boys that actually offers some support and isn't a fashion shoe. These shoes are great! They are cute enough, offer great support, and have held up to my very rough 4 year old. He never complains about his feet hurting. The only thing I don't like, and I didn't reduce the rating for this, is the laces don't stay tied very well. They are round and seem to come lose often.

These shoes are twenty five dollars more in the store than on Amazon, so you are getting a great shoe for an excellent price.

We received these shoes on a friday, by monday morning the tread pieces on the bottom of one shoe was coming off.

Exchanged them for a different style of New Balance that we had good luck with before. It was probably just a fluke, but it was still disappointing.
