This shoe is great for trail running, but work up to it if you're used to wearing a cushy shoe. You'll definitely feel the ground and have to pick your path a little more carefully but the shoe grips like nobody's business, wet or dry. This is my second pair, though, since the rubber wears down pretty quickly but that's the price you pay for sticky rubber. (Climbing shoes have the same issue.) I wasn't sure, initially, about the tread but the rounded format sheds stones and mud well. I wear thin socks with these shoes to keep my feet dry and comfy (except in muddy conditions...then they just get soaked like with any other shoe except a full-on gusseted-tongue hiking boot). Some folks said the shoes made their feet sweat but I haven't noticed any more sweat than with my old Nike clunkers. The toe box is really wide which is so much healthier for the feet. These are the first minimalist shoes I've had and I really didn't think Skechers would have anything decent in that department, but after trying these on the first time I was grudgingly hooked! Love these shoes!!!

This is the first shoe I have had that gave me balance and comfort on the trail as well as a solid foundation for activities like kickboxing in the gym. My feet are next to barefooted, but with a tread. I purchased my first pair at a store for outdoors/walking, and loved them so much I searched for them at Amazon and got another pair for the gym.

Cheap New Balance Men's MR893 Running Shoe

I decided to start running 3 years ago, little by little my attention moved to the shoes, not being a pro I tried different shoes and my feet continuously found in my New Balance MW841WB a good allied. I ran for 3 years with them until a good day they broke. I'm amazed how much you can torture these NB shoes and still they will remain loyal.

I searched for new shoes and in the process I learned that it is fundamental to get the right width, New Balances go from Standard=D to wide=EE, extra wide=EEEE and so on. Make sure to get the right width! The best shoes are useless if you don't check this detail.

It has been almost a year and they are absolutely awesome, I run trails, treadmills and streets as well hike a lot with them. To add a little comfort, I added the Dr. Scholl's® Massaging Gel Sport. The pros are: very light, well ventilated, good support, affordable, easy to wash, good cushioning for all areas of the feet, better than more expensive shoes such as ASICS (I tried these as well). After a year I still haven't found any cons so I'll give them 5 stars, you won't find anything more cost/efficient deal.

I am replacing a pair of Asics running shoes, and first I bought a pair of Reeboks because I got a smashing deal on them. But the Reeboks seemed to be more about fashion than comfort/support, so I still need a pair of running shoes.

I ordered these shoes in black and they are just right. They have support at the arch and the toes, and they have plenty of structure on top so my foot does not bruise.

I bought some black no-show socks to wear with these shoes -there is a fashion cut-out on them that looks wierd with white socks.

The insole of the shoe comes out when putting the shoe on. I don't know if it was made that way or if it just didn't get sewn in or glued in so it isn't the shoe for me. The shoe was comfortable but I would constantly be losing the insole.

I returned these shoes as it's not totally clear from the picture that where the tongue of the shoe usually is there is a giant hole in the top of the shoe! If you look really closely at the picture you can then see it. I guess that's fine if you're expecting it and are OK with your socks showing through every time you wear these shoes.

A friend recommended this brand as I do a lot of walking. They are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned! The only thing that bothered me is that there is a hole above the laces (not sure why it is there). But people can see what color socks you are wearing.

I was a little surprised when I got this shoe, a couple of reasons why, 1. The top of part of the shoe is open just under the area where it laces up, 2. It is a lot lighter then most running or workout shoes.

One major bonus is there very comfortable and have a lot of cushion to them. I just don't know if they will work out well for a long distance run or high impact workout.

I spend a lot of time on my feet at work during a 12 hour shift so these shoes were perfect for me. They are extremely comfortable, light weight, and look good. I had to get the white pair for my job but I would not recommend getting the white ones because, like any white shoe, they stain easy. If comfort is a major issue, then I would definitely recommend these shoes.

I have been a runner since I was 13 (now 30) and I know that I need a shoe for a moderately high arch and I need a stability shoe (which this is). **NOTE: don't buy a shoe if your stride hasn't been evaluated--just because mizunos have a good rep doesn't mean that any of their shoes will be right for you--most running stores can evaluate your run and let you try out running in different types of shoes on a treadmill.** I just received these today and ran in them tonight. I am a huge fan of the Reebok RealFlex and spotted these. My RealFlex still have quite a few miles left on them but I always like to prepare for when they are worn out and have my next running shoe ready to go. I tried these on at the store and they had a little more padding in the fabric than my old RealFlex but they were comfortable and cute so I came home and ordered them off Amazon (because I saved $20).

I have been walking and running in them and they fit just as well, if not better, than my old RealFlex. This is my new favorite shoe! Now I just have to remind myself that I still have to wear the old pair too because they do have a lot of miles left in them.

I'm not a huge mileage running but I believe in a more minimalist shoe, and despite the extra padding in this shoe, it still has the same light feel to it. I run no more than 15-20 miles a week.

I normally wear a size 9 shoe but I ordered these in a 9 1/2 and they are perfect for running with a bit of extra room in the toe to accommodate the impact of the foot as I run.

I highly recommend this shoe!

Greatest shoe yet. I had ordered a pair in my regular size before and after wearing for awhile they hurt my toes so this time I order 1/2 size larger and they are much better. I suppose because of the "pointed" instead of "round" toe on the shoe they are better in an 1/2 size larger.

I bought these based on the reviews & was concerned about size & width. I went w/ my normal size 6.5 and they are perfect for me. I do not wear heavy socks, and if you do it might be a bit tight. Also, the cushion is removable... that could help as well. But, that's what gives it a nice "walking on air" feeling. I usually have problems on my instep, but stretched them for a couple days-( stuffed the upper part ).. Just enough for extra flexabliity. I'm sure the more I wear them, they will stretch out a bit.. It's the perfect walking shoe, casual, the most comforable I've had. My other concern was the back of the shoe being too high and hitting my back ankle-not the case here. I highly recommend this for the walker, shopper and everyday use. Good quality & worth every penny.

I knew better than to buy Propet walkers, as previous styles I've purchased do not run true to size. But a pink sneaker in AAAA width? I couldn't resist. Stupid me. The label says AAAA, but the shoe fits like a AA at best, perhaps even a plain old B/medium width. In the past, I've had problems with lengths -a 10 is short, while a 10 1/2 is long. Even with thickly cushioned socks, this shoe is far too wide. And it's not even that cute. The heel screams "old lady," even in the eyes of my 89-year-old mom. I don't care for the finish -it's not a matte pink but a sparkly one more appropriate for an evening shoe than a sneaker.

I have had Propet shoes that did fit must have been a different last. My foot is short and wide. I bought it in a 6 extra wide. If you find Vibram five fingers uncomfortable, then this may be the shoe for you. I like the split between big toe and the rest of the toes, because it increases side-to-side stability, kind of like the big-toe loop on Chaco sandals. I find this a more attractive option than five individual fingers. The shoe is also super light. If there's anything about it that I worry about, it's the way the neoprene (or whatever the uppers are made of) folds over the bottom of the shoe. I worry that it will rub against the ground too much and fray. I've run a handful of miles in them without any visible wear, though. So far so good!

My girlfriend has the slip-on equivalent to these and raves about them so much I decided I had to give them a try. I normally wear a size 10 in the widest shoe I can find, but ordered a 10.5 hoping it would fit since these aren't offered in wide sizes. .With that in mind, it fits about as I expected; the width is just OK, and the length is just a tad too long. The comfort makes up for that. The shoe is very light, and the sole is great for walking. Not sure I'd want to run in these though, but they are meant as a walking shoe and do great as such. My only complaint, is I decided to wear these without socks, as the bright colors of the orange just clashed bad with my white ankle socks. After about a 2 mile walk, I found a large seam on the inside of the left foot had rubbed a gash in my pinkie toe so bad it started bleeding. I might try to get in there with scissors and see if I can trim a little of the seam off, because I don't want to be limited to wearing these with socks.
