It's a very good shoe for soft ground (natural) fields. It fits OK and it's not heavy. The only bad thing is that I have not found replacements cleats for this brands. There are some options but it would be nice to have the same pieces.

I bought these based on being professionally fitted for the Progrid Omni 8 last year, but never bought them. Wow! I was missing out! These provide the support I so need for my slight pronation issue. I'm not a runner, but I do walk and plan on training in these for a half marathon I'm walking in. BTW, for the hard to find size, these were an unbeatable price and arrived quickly!!

I normally wear a size 81/2 N but always a 9 in athletic shoe to allow for downhill treks. The Saucony 9N was too short...big toe touching the end. Bought same shoe in 9 1/2 N and fits perfectly. Love the cushy feel of the soles and the really supportive insole feel. Now I won't dread my next buy!

I am not an athlete, but I've found that if you have extremely flat feet (which I do) proper shoes are important. I did not realize that stable arch support would make so much difference to me physically. After I switched to these shoes I found I didn't have shin splints nearly as much as before and I feel like my posture has improved. I love these shoes so much I'm now on my second pair in 3 years. I wear them daily; however, like I said before, I am not an athlete. I do not go running in these shoes--they are my day to day walking shoes.

I've been wearing the Mirages for a few years. I absolutely adore the new Mirage 3, and I like the changes that were made. The shoe is very light. It breathes well and provides just enough cushioning to make for fast and comfortable runs. I think this is the perfect link between traditional and minimalist running shoes.

I have had a history of running injury (bilaterial tibial stress fractures). Relearning how to run has been a difficult process for me, slow and arduous. I have spent a lot of time working on my form and decided it was time for a new pair of running shoes. These are great for me -they have support and a minimal (4 mm) drop. Making them the perfect transition shoe (for me!) to dropless shoes or barefoot running, which is an eventual goal.

They look great and fit well. I am grateful for this investment and my shins thank me too! Since purchasing them, I have consistently felt better while running. Granted, we're all different, so anyone looking at running shoes, I would recommend a visit to your local running store to be properly fit.

Love it!

Honest reviews on Saucony Women's Mirage 3 Running Shoe

Bought these shoes a few weeks ago, usually go for the Nike Frees or 5.0 as I love the light weight, more natural feel of them. After sustaining an impact injury on my heel after running a half marathon shortly after having my second baby, I had to find a new shoe with more support for my heels. I love that they provide the extra support while not weighing me down or feeling too heavy on my feet. Overall I love them, and I love the bright colors as well

I have had trouble in the past finding a light shoe that didn't feel like you were running barefoot, until now!! Absolutely everything I was looking for cushioning, support, and so unbelievably light. I would highly recommend them.

Well, shoes are great, the only thing is I didn't realize is the fact that one shoe is white and another is black. I couldn't find that information on the site, so I figured any of the posted colors (white, black or silver) will be OK, but having one black, another white kind of wierd.... I wouldn't buy it if I knew that was the case in the first place, but definitly will recomend any other colors assuming they are the same ;-)

I love this style, and bought these shoes hoping for some good all around running shoes. The colors are fantastic (I purchased the yellow and green ones) but the size is way off. I ordered an 8 in men's (my normal size) but the shoes barely fit. The inside of the shoe reads "mens/boys" on the size tag. Order a size up!

Bearing in mind the price, these running shoes are certainly a good deal. I read some people getting each shoe of different color but I just got the blue ones as shown in the picture. I've used them for a couple of weeks now, mainly for running, and so far they have been good.

Honest reviews on adidas Men's RLH Cross Running Shoe

When I saw in the picture that one is white and another is black, I thought they might send me a white or a black pair. But I am extremely disappointed to have a white and a black. I sent it back and had to pay for the return shipping. That means I paid $3.84 for nothing.

Bought these shoes because of the 4 good reviews. Man they are wrong. The shoes looks good but that's about it. I don't know if those people who made those reviews got a different pair of shoes but the one I got , the material/fabric looks cheap and there's minimal arch support. These is not an ideal running shoes. I had bought K-swiss shoes before and usually pleased with the workmanship and the materials used. I would probably go to an actual shoe store next time so I could see and feel the shoes first before buying it.

When I saw them on sale at such a low price, I figured they wouldn't be that good, I was wrong. They're very comfortable, fit perfect and look a lot better in person. They also worked real well for hiking and trust me, I never planned on hiking, especially in my brand new shoes. But, they worked great. Definitely would recommend them and at this price my only regret is not buying two...

I have heard nothing but good things about KS Tubes. While they were comfortable, coincidentally I received a corn in a not so good place. Like I said, coincidentally. I'm not blaming the shoe. These shoes are probably my new favorite pair. I haven't used them for running yet, but to wear around as a sneaker, these shoes are great. I get a lot of support for my arches. I ordered these in the size I thought I would fit, and they fit perfectly. The color is also great, and happens to be the color of the season in fashion. If you take great care of these shoes, they'll look great for months, maybe years to come. This definitely won't be my last pair from New Balance.

It's the fifth straight pair of New Balance shoes that I've purchased, and they're just as comfortable and fit exactly the same as the previous four. Just a perfect, casual, every day sneaker at a reasonable price.

Honest reviews on New Balance Men's ML501 Lifestyle Running Shoe

I love New Balance. I was looking to replace a pair of old shoes that I purchased way back in 2005 that were on their last leg and I settled on these. I have gotten a lot of compliments since wearing them; people state to me they have an early 90's "retro" look that they like. These shoes are pretty versatile and go with any casual attire such as shorts or jeans. The price on Amazon can't be beat and they are very comfortable a quality that I have come to expect from New Balance.

Let me begin by saying I've been running with the NB WT10 shoe, and as much as I LOVE them, my feet get a bit tender from running on roads. I looked around and tried on several different minimalist shoes trying to find a good minimal feel without the tenderness I've been getting with the trail shoes. I tried on the Minimus Road, the Brooks Pure Connect and a few other I don't remember. The problem I had with all was it just felt like too much padding under my foot. I wanted protection without extra fluff. The second I put these shoes on I was in heaven. I read the few reviews available to see what others had to say and they all were really positive. I did read that most had to go up a size, I actually went down half a size to get the feel I wanted. The toebox is nice and roomy with a tight fitting heel. The shoes are very well ventilated. My only gripe as far as construction goes is the laces are really cheapo and I'll be switching them out. I also like how they aren't flashy shoes, I'm a plain jane kind of girl, I don't need neon shoes to be cool, I just want to get out there, do my thing and not draw tons of attention to myself. I love the design of these shoes.

I took them out for a run after buying them today. Just a 2-mile run because I'm slowly rehabbing an injury and these shoes just did it for me. I felt connected with the pavement and didn't even feel the tender spot on my foot until the end of the run.

I would not recommend these shoes for a heel striker. I run on my forefoot and have no issues with these shoes, but I bet for heel strikers they would be painful. I don't know if they would be good for someone wanting to transition because I made my transition in the trail shoes.

That's about all the important details I can really think of. I would definitely recommend these shoes, and will more than likely buy more pairs before New Balance screws it up with a newer model. I hope this review has helped. Happy running folks!

I love these shoes so much, I have two pairs in different colors, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them both. I am a big NB fan, their shoes always fit my feet better than any other brand. I originally bought a pair just to wear around for daily use/errands and such. I really loved the style and color. When I first tried them on, I felt like the fit about a 1/2 size big, however I think that was just due to the roomy toe of the shoe. I almost always wear a 7.5 no matter what the style/designer. I bought my first pair in a size 7 and they fit great for walking around, running errands etc...

When I ran in them, they felt great! However, I knew right away I needed a 1/2 size larger if I was going to run in them all the time.

I ordered a 7.5 for my running shoes, and I love them. There's so much wiggle room in the toes width-wise that I never have achy toes after a run. I view these as my "step up" from minimal/barefoot shoes because while there's not a lot of cushion, there's still some.

I would suggest ordering true to size if you're using them for errands and daily wear, but if you intend to use these as running shoes, I'd go at least 1/2 size up, maybe a full size if you have long toes :)

**UPDATE** I have been running in these shoes for about 6 months now, and as one reviewer also stated the mesh is starting to come apart, right where the foot bends. However, it is just the top layer of mesh that has "worn" and the shoe is still very much usable, there is no hole all the way though... and looking at it, I don't think there will be. This has happened on both of the shoes I own, my running shoes are a bit worse than the other pair. This would NOT deter me from buying this shoe again.

Before these shoes, I tried a number of different shoes like Brooks Pure Connect, and Reebok Real Flex and a few others, and I feel these NB are light enough for me to carry on a 5-6 mile run easily without any pain in my calves, shins or ankles. I'm still very happy with these, and would for sure buy them again.

I run about 20-30 miles a week. Always run in a minimal shoe. These shoes are great. Roomy toe box and very light. The sole is very durable. I have had them for a few weeks and already put 100 miles on them. The sole still looks new. The upper is holding up. The laces are a little cheap and kept untying. Replaced them with a $2.00 pair from my running store. These have become my go to training shoe. You can fully feel the road. They are a very affordable option for people looking for a good minimal training shoe.

Honest reviews on New Balance Women's W730 Running Shoe

I thought I was buying the New Balance quality that the brand is known for, a quality running shoe and one that would be sleek, comfortable and well made. I got them quickly and was really excited.

They are not that comfortable being there is little if any arch support. They are wide really wide, I have a wider foot than average and this was too wide for my foot. I can't imagine how it would fit a woman with a narrow foot.

I thought that the low price was because they were possibly last season's or somethingnot so they are just cheap.

I wore them less than a month and not frequently. Due to an injury I cannot run and I can't walk far. It's a good thing I didn't buy them thinking that they were a serious running shoewhat a disappointment. They are brand new and they already tore. I barely wore them, they aren't too tight and yet in a month or a bit more they already tore on the seam on top of the shoe. If I could get my money back I would.

They have NO support, they are ridiculously too wide, the laces are a creepy nylon that WON'T stay tied, and they tore in just over a month of limited use.

New Balance what happened? You used to be the only shoe that all my serious runner friends buy. When I was a serious runner I could alway depend on a high quality running shoe if it was a New Balance. Not with this shoe, they should have a disclaimerbuyer beware!

I purchased this from JCpenney for around $40+tax. Pricing wise, Jcp is the lowest unless Amazon runs a deal on this listing.

It's a good light running shoe from Adidas especially for folks who like to run on hard surfaces. Also, a comfortable shoe for walking long distances. It has adequate heel support and good shock absorption, so your feet dont feel achy even after an hour's worth of moderate running.

Comparing this shoe to the previous brilliant Adidas trail running offerings such as Supernova TR series and Response TR series, the Thrasher TR 2 seems a bit of a disappointment in terms of performance and comfort level (especially breath ability of the shoe). However it could have to do with that Thrasher TR line of shoes are supposed to be half the price of aforementioned shoes.

If you are looking for top of the line Trail running shoe from Adidas, you would rather go for the pricy Response Rerun TR.

Important Information for prospective buyers : This run really really small and narrow. I usually get size 10.5 M(normal width). However, for this shoe I had to get 11.5 EE (very wide). So make sure you try it on at shoe carnival or any other outlet that carries this shoe before ordering it.

I went to Kohls and they had the last pair on clearance for $26. Probably a manufacturing defect, the right shoe curved up more and made my foot ache within seconds. If it did not have that problem I would have bought it at that price. The shoe fit my usual size. It was very flexible. What surprised me the most is how soft and quiet the soles were. While most rubber shoes make some clopping sound when you stomp your feet, the outer soles on these were as if they were made of foam and felt like I was walking on foam. I think the lug arrangement aided in this awesome feel. I ended up getting the Adidas Kanadia TR which is similar.

I have worn ASCIS for over 20 years. Gel Lyte 2's size 9. I got these and my toes are jammed in the front horribly. The sole of the shoe has "breathable" holes in it, 6 of them. So when you step in a puddle when you are running or run on wet grass the entire base of your foot gets soak and wet! Not good for runners. Not good for anyone. VERY disappointed.

I've owned many ASICS shoes and can say these guys run about a half size small. I'm pretty sure they're meant to be worn without socks but that doesn't really work for me. Love how they feel on even if they're a little smaller that usual. My suggestion: if you're wearing them with socks, go a half size up.

This asics has been accompanying me on my tracks for the last 100km and never had one single pain, blister or anything unexpected. The shoe is still intact after been used on treadmill, street and sand.

It can, thought, be a little uncomfortable for running on rainy days, since it is designed to help ventilation and, therefore, it lets a bit of water in.

I consider these shoes to be unique simply because I have never before found a shoe that combines style, support, and a "sporty" feel. Let's be honest, if you care about your feet and your ankles, you should never buy footwear that does not offer adequate support. I have rolled my ankles too many times in the past, so now I need to be pickier with my shoe selection, but I don't want to sacrifice style. This shoe is the first that I have found that really offers it all.

The first thing that you will notice is that they are so lightweight. If you have to take off and run for the bus at the drop of a hat, you won't feel clunky or awkward running in these. They really feel like running shoes and you can definitely use them as running shoes even though they are high tops.

I gave these shoes 5 stars, although I cannot tell you yet how durable they are yet. I can tell you that they feel solidly built considering how light they are. Also, even though I gave these shoes 5 stars, not all feet are the same and I feel like I took a big risk ordering these without having tried them on beforehand. These shoes are for slightly narrower, longer feet. My feet are a little wider and shorter than average, but these still feel great even though the fit isn't "perfect". I bought a D and I'm not sure if E sizes are available. Either way, I'm happy with these and I will not be looking to change them. I still give these a 5 no matter what. If you're into the high top look but want to have the running show feel, you NEED to at least give these a try.

When I first bought this shoe I was amazed how comfortable these shoes were. After just 2 months I noticed that the bottom of the sole was coming apart and the shoes were developing holes on the fabric. Also the seem of the shoes was also coming apart.I spent 180.00 dollars on the shoes. My nikes held up better then the hokas. I had the nikes for 2 years. I returned the hokas hoping to replace the shoes for a new pair. Now I need to wait two weeks to find out if I get a new pair.

The Excellent Unique shoe that delivers on the promise of quicker recoveries. I find myself naturally grabbing it for runs of all sorts, short, trail, and definitely long runs.

The OKThe upper could be improved. I'm wearing some holes where the shoe bends. Nothing that is stopping me from running in them, but they have about 250 miles on them. These have been billed by others to last forever. I can see getting 500 miles without loss of cushioning. The upper may be pretty ripped up though.

I love the ride. I just don't feel my fastest in these. I prefer a more responsive shoe for races, fast runs. In all, an excellent shoe to have in the arsenal if you like variety.

Best Deals on Mens Hoka One One Bondi 2

In short, buy these shoes if you have lower leg problems after running. These shoes allow you to strike the ground with your foot flat and it supports your foot better than any shoe I've ever tried, and angles your foot forward (4mm drop) to assist in proper forward lean. They really shine for me in downslopes, but are also important in minimizing calf efforts on upslopes as well.

Now, I want to provide some background so you can evaluate my use of the shoes. I have chronic, but mild arthritis (so far, my family has a history with arthritis), and have always had weak calf/soleus muscles. I am not an avid runner. I am a sprint distance triathlete who views running as a necessary evil. I regularly experience knee & calf pain after running long distances (for me this is 4-6 mile range). I have tried other expensive shoes--asics, nike, saucony. I have tried compression socks/sleeves. I have tried running 5 days per week. I've tried running 2 days per week. Regardless, I have experienced aches and pains with annoying regularity.

Enter the Hoka Bondi 2 shoes. Recommended to me by an ultra-marathoner, I tried them and the Hoka trail shoes (which are stiffer in the sole, but felt about the same as the Bondis in the support & fit department). I decided to go with the Bondis as they were slightly easier to get on in a hurry (think triathlon transition times).

Now for the good stuff; I've run about 30 miles in these shoes, and set a personal best pace in the longest

distance I've run in them (5 miles). I plan on sticking to my 3x per week schedule and only using the Hokas for my race days and long Sunday training runs (which I'm now upping by 1 mile each week until I feel a resumption of untenable aches) because of complaints on the internet on outsole wear. I estimate they cut down, but don't completely eliminate, about 80-90% of my discomfort. Instead of starting to feel calf aches in mile 1, it is now mile 3-4 before I feel any discomfort, and the ramp up in pain is very slow. I ran my 5 miles yesterday, and I have zero pain today. That is new for me; I typically feel pain after a 4 mile run for a couple of days.

UPDATE: After wearing the Bondi's in my first sprint triathlon, I'm even more impressed. These shoes allow you to run on autopilot, which is key when you are pressing your pace and starved for oxygen. I was able to plant my feet firmly on the ground and let the shoe absorb the impact, saving my legs and knees. Also, by landing my whole foot flat, instead of on the balls of my feet, while climbing or dropping down hills, I was able to keep them cooler and have less slip/friction, which meant no blisters for me! End result: New personal record, and my legs feel better than they ever have at the end of a triathlon.

I have also trained some longer distances in these shoes and ran a 10k at a PR pace. Again, I can strike with my foot flat instead of worrying about varying my landing angles based upon terrain. Makes it easier to run, and has dramatically reduced my wear & tear which for me, is priceless.

To those who complain about durability...you are using a soft shoe that absorbs impact, which has to reduce the shoe's durability. I'm not an ultra runner, so for me, these shoes represent tremendous value in improving my race/training performance.

Honest reviews on Mens Hoka One One Bondi 2

I am a relatively large runner (6'2", 195 lbs., 20 miles per week) and historically have intermittent knee pain. The Hoka One One Bondi's were recommended to me to try as they are generally very well received by heavier runners with knee and ankle pain.

My initial impressions were very favorable: they are extremely comfortable and walking on them is almost like walking on pillows. They are very isolating from the surface, so much so that it took me a while to get comfortable with a normal walking gait (they felt positively clumsy on stairs.) I did run on them on a treadmill and that took far more adjustment than expected and I didn't feel particularly secure in them because they are so isolating. I generally wear a size 12, and these felt overall reasonably true to size, though my subjective experience is that the toe box is wider than I'm used to (I generally run in ASICS, normally Noosas.) During the days I wore them I became more and more aware of a defect that I am sure is unique to my individual pair: the left shoe is very comfortable with no hot spots, but in the right shoe on the outboard side of the area where the tongue attaches to the structure of the toe box there is a large ridge of fabric that feels very prominent within the shoe, rubbing the top of my foot and irritating it greatly. It was this defect combined with the isolation from the surface being walked or run on that made me finally elect to return these shoes as unsuitable for me.

While I am sure that these are great shoes for very heavy people or people who value a very plush footwear experience and are willing to trade off much of the sensation of the surface they are running on, I have no regrets about returning mine. The apparent defect in the right shoe was the only blemish on what looked like otherwise beautifully constructed shoes, and I can't comment on durability as I had them for a relatively short time and never raced in them (I ran substantially slower in them on my treadmill as I didn't feel very secure in them; I feel confident my speed would have returned to some degree after getting more used to them.) I have returned to other shoes and am glad I tried the Hoka's and certainly wish they had worked for me as minimizing knee trauma is something I need to be constantly aware of and it's one area the Hoka's reportedly excel in. Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the benefits these shoes could have held for my joints.

I bought one locally, and I was sold on cushion and "stability."

Pros: the most comfortable shoe I have worn.

Cons: the most dangerous shoe I have worn!

I hiked around Yellowstone the day after I got, 'me and my feet felt pretty darn good. But I noticed as I used them they were settling a bit. I started to get some ankle pain, and then the disaster...I stepped on the edge of a pothole, and the very odd altitude--this is essentially a very elevated sneaker--pitched me forward flat on my face! I ended up with a bruised right knee (understandable from a fall) and the odd part, a left MIDFOOT sprain, with injury to some of the lateral MIDFOOT tendons! My only explanation, was that when I was going down, my anchored but tilted left foot was desperately trying for something SOLID to grip. But there was nothing, nothing but creamy fluffy softness!

So, if you run on smooth surfaces without turning, say a treadmill, or other safe, smooth places, these may work out. But IMHO, as a physician, I would not recommend these to any but people who have super healthy legs and ankles, because you are going to need them when this shoe fails you in challenging geometries!

The funny thing is, I told the dealer that I have iffy knees, and my ankles have been sprained many times. He said this was ideal, but I am here to tell you that if you need any kind of lateral or pronation support these will likely be way too soft for you. BTW, I did take them back, for as much refund as I could get.

Anyway, that is my experience.
