My three sons play baseball and they all agree that the Mizuno cleats are the best. Nike runs too narrow for them and the Under Armour cleats just don't hold up so they always ask me to get them the Mizuno's. Very happy with them!!

Shoes are very lightweight. Memory foam soles provide massage-like comfort with every step. Being a nurse, I am on my feet all shift and these shoes make it enjoyable. Skechers are the best shoes ever!

These shoes are not just beautiful, however; they are very, very comfortable. I walked 5 miles in them yesterday (and I have bad feet). I don't think I could have done that with any other shoe I have without blisters because of my flat feet. They have the memory foam inner sole that makes for a very comfortable experience.

I gets lots of compliments on them, how pretty they are, too. My only caveat is that I tried these on at the Skechers store before I bought them on Amazon. I took a size smaller than normal for me (8-1/2 instead of a 9); so be sure you get the right size. (They are cheaper on Amazon, plus I had $24 in free points from using my Amazon Visa card.)

You will not be disappointed with them (unless you get the wrong size).

I'm an overweight walker, wear a size 8.5, and have been buying very good ASICS cushioned running shoes. Problem is all the shoes I have used wear out (lose their cushioning) within 6-9 months. I walk between 9-12 miles a week and hate seeing $70-$100 ASICS Cumulus running shoes get replaced so quickly. I figured, since all shoes lose their cushioning faster with heavier users then why not try some cheaper shoes.

I picked the Gel Venture 3 Trail shoes because I noticed the Cumulus becoming marshmallow like on hot days when they were closer to the end of their life span and because my ASICS Neo Walkers were wearing very quickly on the soles. The Venture trail running shoes have a stiffer bottom of slower wearing black material. They do not flex as well when brand new but give them 5 or 10 miles of use and they are great. Cushioning is less than the Cumulus but give a more secure feel and I have had no shin splints develop. They breathe a bit less than the Cumulus but are warmer in the winter. So far they are great and the experiment seems to prove that I don't necessarily need the higher end shoes. The gel in the heel works well and since I am not running, I really do not need the forefoot gel of the Cumulus. Also, the gel is centered on the heel(better for the heel strike of a walker)vs the Cumulus runner where the gel is pushed toward the outside of the heel.

Only drawback may be slight break-in and the fact that the laces are pretty slippery and come undone more easily than other ASICS I have had. You just have to tie them tight. I lucked out and found mine for $40 at that lower end "french department store chain ....Jacque Penney" :)

Not impressed at all with this shoe. Asics road shoes are fine. I have a pair that i've been using on the treadmill and the road for the past several months. But these Asics trail shoes are a different story. Too spongy, no feel, the stability is shaky over rocks and roots, the heel to toe drop is too pronounced for a comfortable trail run at any distance over a couple miles, it's like running on a pedestal. After a few miles on even a moderate trail with rocks, roots, and changes in elevation it really takes its toll on your feet, knees, and hip flexors. When you attempt to run properly, with changes to your stride on hills and dealing with smaller obstacles in your way the shoes end up hurting your toes. Going down even slight grades turned into an a very painful exercise that a trail runner cannot afford, safety wise. The weight of the shoe is also a problem, as in the sho is much too heavy considering the minimal protection afforded the wearer. And although I'm not one that has to love the way their shoes look, I'm still human and enjoy shoes that aesthetically pleasing. It seems that Asics was trying to get into a more modern scheme with the colors, incorporating the bright yellow/green citron shade that many shoe makers are using right now. Asics' attempt, unfortunately, is a disaster. The shoes don't look good. More importantly, the shoes, just don't look right. The citron yellow/green is two different shades in different places, and the shades are just similar enough to tell that they aren't meant to contrast or compliment, but they just clash and really makes the shoe look sort of silly. Looks like a bad shoe from the mid 80's. In short, I've worn these 3 times now over the past 6 days and logged only about 14 miles in them. 7 of those are on a mix of light trails and pavement. I couldn't use them any longer b/c they were that bad. I have normal sized feet, unlike so many reviewers on here who apparently have size triple F width feet. If I needed a toe box the size of a small lifeboat, then perhaps i would think that "hey, maybe it's just me." But I don't. And I know how to properly run trails. And even with a normal width foot, these shoes crushed my toes during a short trail run. Never again. I'm done with these. Asics really failed with this shoe. It's as if the designers NEVER ran on a trail. And then just suddenly decided one day to design a trail shoe that ultimately doesn't do very well running on trails. That's this shoe. Sorry Asics. You had me, but after buying and using the Gel Venture 3, you've lost me. Move on folks, there's nothing to see here. Unless you have a keen interest in wasting your money.

These shoes are great looking and comfortable. Unfortunately the soles started to peel away after having them for only 5 weeks. Thankfully ASICS sent me another pair but not without some persistence.

This is a solid shoe. Fit is true to size, maybe just a little bigger on my size 12's. Lots of extra padding and not very breathable so maybe not a good choice for hot climates. Pleased overall.

So I bought the shoes on my habit about a month ago.

Wore less than 5 times. The rubber part on the outside start peeling off.

Called k-swiss, sent them photos. And they say that was an insignificant problem, doesn't affect the functionality of the shoes, so no exchange.

That's k-swiss's quality standard.

These shoes are sexy when bought new. But that's all they have. Quality is an insignificant aspect for them to pay attention to!

kswiss shoes have a great stability and last a while it is a good product and i would definitely recommend kswiss shoes.

I bought these to run Tough Mudder. I was looking for shoes with good protection and traction and these deliver on both counts. I spent 4 1/2 hrs. going up and down muddy slick rocky hills and never slipped. The tread pattern on these shoes gives you stunning grip and stability. They also have a protection plate under the forefoot to protect from punctures or rocks which is nice. The only down side I see is they are not the lightest or most flexible shoes, but I guess its a trade off for protection. If you run in rough terrain or wet muddy conditions you wont find a better shoe.

I've been a long time fan of Asic for road shoes. The Gel Attack is light with an aggressive tread, traits that I like in a trail shoe. However this latest model, the 7, seems narrower than usual up front compared to most Asics models. I usually get the standard medium width in Asics, but these I wish I had gone wider. I don't have too many miles on them yet, so I can't speak to the durability. I had issues with the Attack model 6's I had previously. I wore holes in both of them above both big toes, something that normally isn't an issue with me. Asics should beef up the fabric in that area.

I'm a big dude 6'4" and 3 bills, and these shoes are plenty supportive to my weathered feet and ankles. Three thumbs up.

Honest reviews on ASICS Men's GEL-Trail Attack 7 Trail Running Shoe

I', 6'2", 285 lbs...kinda wide feet too. Innovate Talons would barely go on my feet, let alone be comfortable to run in, but these Asics are perfect not a single issue. If you are a big guy and need extra room for your feet, then there are the shoes you want, esp for trail running.

Good shoes as per usual, last pair were attack5, 7's seem narrower in the upper and definitely less sole width, good for running, but maybe not as good as 5's for the bush bash...do AR/Rogaine

I use these to run on concrete. The flexibility of the sole is great. Take out the insoles and you have a very thin protective layer between your skin and the ground. They are very minimalist, kind of like a VFF but without the weird toe hassle and strange looks.

This is the second pair of Inov8s I hav ordered. My first pair are the Bare-XF 210s. I bought those to replace my NB Minimus Zeros since I am military and needed something a little more conservatively colored. I bought this pair as my feet tend to sweat a lot and could use a pair to swap out while washing the other pair. I would say the ball of my foot is medium to wide in size. The 210s fit snug(not in a bad way) around my feet which allowed me to move side to side and turn tight while running. This leads me to the only downside to these shoes, the "toe box" is just a little loose so if you try to turn very quickly or stop to abroptly your feet may shift in them a bit. If your running doe not involve said motion these shoes would be great. Also this might be a good thing if you were going to run distance as your feet may expand enough to fit them. Over all these are very great shoes and I would not hesitate to by another pair.

This is a great tennis shoe. It has good support, cushioning and stability. They didn't require any break-in time. I had been wearing an Asics tennis shoe which I liked, but there wasn't as much cushioning and after an hour of playing the soles of my feet hurt. That doesn't happen with these shoes. These are not made for creeks or beachs. I assume these are made for people in water sports that just deal with docks, boat decks, skidoos, and open waters since they are definitely not made for sand or gravel. I used once in creek and regreted since. The holes in the bottom of the soles suck in particulates every time you walk and pull them up into the insoles where they get stuck under the fine mesh. It is impossible to get this stuff out! So, once you use in gravel, you have this layer of rocks directly under the insoles that you can see quite well but can never remove. Same way with sand, except sand tends to comes out over time. On the good side, they are well made and very comfortable, and would love to use in the right conditions. For the price, I'll just continue to use my old sneakers for creek shoes and use these as comfortable dry lightweight sneakers, and take it as lesson learned.

I purchased these shoes to use for doing water sports in Hawaii. You can't go without some kind of foot protection here because of all the lava hidden here and there, and sometimes everywhere, at the beach. I found that I can also swim ocean laps in these and go without flippers for most snorkeling. They are very comfortable and are at home in the water, no water staying in the shoes because they drain so well. I have tried many other water shoes and these are the best! I would only give one warning to others, I can't keep the shoes tied in the water. This is because of the way I am tying the shoes, not because of the shoes. For me, this turned out to be a good thing, when I am snorkeling, fish love to come and check out my dangling shoe laces. Columbia also makes these same shoes with no laces to be tied if this is a problem for anyone.

i used this shoe for all my water hiking and spelunking on a recent trip to the belizean jungle. it got me through the famed actun tunichil muknal cave without a single slip so that says it all right there. the only downside was that the rather rough edge on the back of the shoe (the part which basically supports your achilles tendon) caused the skin to break over both my achilles. this is not uncommon when you hike without socks, so i made a minor modification. i took out both soles from the inside of the shoe and wore my dive socks. with my dive socks on with the soles it was too tight. without the soles my foot fit like a glove and the skin over my heels and achilles were protected. this was THE PERFECT combination for my feet for water hiking and i highly recommend it. no blisters anywhere! i waded through rivers, ran through mud, climbed mossy rocks--you name it. the grip on this shoe is great. a little more padding around the ankle supports and it would be perfect.

First I was pretty skeptical about this or any other new-fad shoe design but was looking for something (anything) to try other than the standard shoes I have been running in for years.

Quick background I starting running for fitness and the challenge about 3 years ago, namely distances of 5 miles plus. It started as way to lose the excess 35 lbs I had gained over some years and then became about the mental challenge of pursuing a goal to run a full marathon. Long story short, I lost all the weight, got in shape and ran my first full marathon (first race / organized run ever actually) 3 years ago. I quickly learned that my right knee is plagued by ITBS Inter-Tibial Band Syndrome. It basically (for me) causes the tendon running from your hip to your knee to swell and then inhibits the knee's bending while causing extreme pain over distance or continuous impact running...as confirmed last year with my 2nd Marathon where my knee "locked" up at mile 18...that last 8 miles with a knee brace and hobbling was almost enough to end my running right there.

I don't concede easily and after buying all of the high-end top name shoes, treadmill video gait checks, correcting my stride, fixing my form, trying the "barefoot" five-fingers for awhile trail running (natural) and wearing a knee brace after a 16 mile run my knee just quits on me. From core-strengthening, to yoga to hip-flexor strengthening exercises too with cross-training, nothing helped at all.

I saw an ad for these some time ago and knew a couple of people who had them, but never really gave it another thought. 2 weeks out from this year's Marathon, I decided to give them a go...what do I have to lose. Ordered the Zig Energy (trust me confusing, I know...the different type are generally just different materials...some for toning, some for running, etc; the soles all appear to be the same) and literally only put 30 mins on a treadmill for a quick hot-spot / fit check and another 6 miles outside when I ran out of run time that day. That was it for "break-in".

So, the final test: I did what I know better and tried something new on Race Day & ran my 3rd Full Marathon in Italy 2 weeks ago in them, untested (fully). It was cold and raining all day while I racked up the miles waiting for the 16 mile mark and imminent knee failure. 17 miles. 18 miles....no knee pain at ALL. Picked up the pace 21, 22...these shoes are AMAZING! Ran my fastest Marathon time ever (03:44 a PR for me at least!) on wet, cobblestone roads for 26.2 miles absolutely pain free for my first distance run ever. I am sold, no kidding, no BS. Works as advertised.

A few notes: The fit is right...I have a Wide Foot, but generally would wear an 8.5E (XW)...they didn't have it so I opted for the 9D (US size) and it fit perfectly. I worried about foot swell over distance (causing pain and blisters in the "toe-box" in narrow shoes), but while it did get snug, I didn't get a single blister or hot spot (seamless upper too helped I'm sure). I DID however due to foot lengthening / impact get 3 black toenails (impact blood blisters under the nail itself they are lost after awhile). I have experienced this in boots and many other shoes as well...distance running just can cause this without a perfectly matched shoes tried and tested. I wore some high-end socks that I trained in for running and had no pain overall.

For Runners: Your foot-strike...this is designed to be a heel-strike shoe, FYI. I had to re-learn how to "improperly" run again after months of training otherwise (mid-fore foot). I kept my stride and gait about the same, but forced heel first impact unless I was passing other runners with some speed. It's it the design and again regardless it works. The only thing for me I significantly changed over 3 years, and it really works.

I have already ordered others for friends and passed the word to everyone I know. I want to find some for my kids too for Xmas...as trendy as they may seem, you can customize them completely in any color mix and even put your name on them (through Reebok for extra $$). I will be ordering a less flashy pair (black) for work as the black and bright yellow stands out a bit too much post marathon attire.

I am a dedicated customer and when a company makes something true to its claims and serves me well, I spread business by word of mouth (it goes both ways though!).

Buy them you won't regret it. Read the other reviews I did and had them proven correct.

With a recent history of plantar fasciitis and having it surgically repaired these shoes are awesome. I had a surgical repair for my condition three years ago and was still buying new shoes every 6-months. The verdict is still out on when my next shoe purchase will be. I am now working out in these shoes and have taken three all day trips to Disneyland. After the those trips my wife complains that her feet are hurting her, I laugh because mine feel great. Buy these shoes and replace the in-soles with after market thicker in-soles you will not regret it.

I have worn the shoes a few times as yet and done a few road runs + walks. They are really good and I like them, or more so, I love it :)

The following are my observations...

Size I have wide feet (bordering on "E"). Therefore as recommended by others, I bought ½ size larger. It is a true to fit.

Comfort Very very comfortable, smooth insides and hence has no "first wear" problems. Well cushioned and the arch support is good too. This is probably my best investment in sports shoes.

Saucony is the one brand that has consistently fit and supported my feet. After botched surgery, both feet have been slowly collapsing. In order to keep walking, I need shoes with strong support. This shoe keeps my feet from hurting and has lots of room for toes. If Saucony stops making this kind of shoe, I'm in real trouble.

I pronate. My left foot rolls over to the right. This shoe addresses this issue and gives great arch support. I have bunions. The way this shoe is constructed it has mesh right where my bunions hit so they do not rub. I'm not a runner, but I do walk alot and have had no pain at all after walking miles in this shoe. It gives great support without being restrictive. I'd love to see it in different colors. I did get a half size larger than I normally wear.
