I bought these shoes and have put about 500km on them. Being my first pair of somewhat "minimalist" shoes I was at first worried about giving up the extra shock absorbtion in the heel of my current runners. I did notice an immediate difference in how "hard" my foot tended to strike the ground on my first couple of runs, but I believe that these shoes encouraged my natural running posture to adapt, work myself away from heel striking, resulting in an overall more efficient stride in the long term. There was also a noticable weight difference and it's hard to go back to my old shoes now. They are also quite breathable if you tend to run in hot weather.

My only complaint is that if you run on gravel paths at all, the design of the sole tends to collect a lot of rocks so when you switch back and forth from gravel to pavement it can be annoying to get the rocks out.

I am really ecstatic about this running shoe. In fact, i bought a another one in a different color. Some people find it otherwise, but i guess the choice of shoes is very personal. I went to a local Nike Store and wore this exact shoe before buying it at a discounted rate in Amazon. Get a one size higher than your usual shoe size.

It is now January 6, 2013. I bought these in June 2012. I wear the heck out of these shoes and they've felt great since the first day. I wear them day to day, but I also run in them. The soles are starting to wear a little bit, but they are still super comfortable.

It might be the shoe when I run, but when I run passed the 10 mile mark, I start to feel pinching near the ball of my foot. That's the only real complaint I have.

This is the 2nd generation of free's I've had and I will probably get another set of free's after I am done with these.

I found these to run true to size, are comfortable and no sliding on the astroturf. These are our first "official" indoor soccer shoes so they never get worn outside. They look like they will last the whole season but will be outgrown before next year.

They even look smaller next to their cleated version! After two attempts to "break them in" by taking short strolls around the block, on the third day I put them on, my feet rebelled, so I will just donate these to a charity who needs them.

I've had a very hard time finding indoor soccer shoes for my son, let alone a 1/2 size shoe. These fit great...exactly the size he's in for gym shoes. He's worn them for 3 games now, and they are great. We'll be buying the outdoor version in a month or so to get ready for the outdoor season.

Great looking shoe but if you order the wide width, the shoe will look huge on your kids foot. One thing that I have noticed is that with children's Saucony you will get a comfortable enough fit if you get the width a medium. The wide toe box on this shoe makes it look out of proportion with the rest of the shoe. I would have returned them but my kid had seen them and wanted to keep them.

These are still the best trail running shoes available for my kids in junior high school cross country. However, they are not as good as the previous model. The toe box on the original is roomier for splaying their toes and the upper on this model is much stiffer than the original which inhibits some of the flexibility. Also, the original had a nicely padded heel counter and softer upper materials for greater comfort. All that aside, my kids still love these shoes and the colors available. Hopefully v3 will return to softer, more flexible upper materials.

We are very happy with these shoes, as we were looking for minimalist runners for my son. Initially he thought they seemed a bit tight, but after running in them for a month, he reports they feel great! They are VERY light weight, which likely helps for distance running. So far, they have held up just fine. We are very happy with the minimal sole, and the wide toe box, particularly giving room for his smallest two toes. The next test will be using them for volleyball for the next month or so. Great product, highly recommended!

Nice, sleek sneakers. The minimal style is great for kids that feel like most sneakers are too bulky or heavy. My son loves them and he has a complaint about practically every pair he's owned. He also tends to be clumsy and these really work for him to feel more grounded. A couple things to consider before buying -Though great for running, they are supposed to mimic barefoot running so they lack the extra padding or support that he/she may be used to. Also, the thin fabric will wear down faster than that of other sneakers so think about what kind of daily "abuse" your kid will put them through. I only gave them four stars because I did notice that the stitching on some parts was starting to unravel a bit. The sneakers aren't falling apart, however, I feel that this is something the manufacturers should pay better attention to.

This is an excellent shoe. It has good flexibility in the forefoot which is recommended for good running form. I have run in the woods in muddy as well as rocky ground (up in the forests by West Point Academy, New York). The traction was excellent and I had no slippage problems. These shoes are lighter than my same size Mizuno Wave Rider 15's and they also have less drop. The Roclite 315 have a 9mm drop and the Mizuno Wave Rider has a 12 mm drop. So in transitioning between the two shoes you should not notice the difference. The Roclite 295 shoe has a smaller drop of 6mm. There is lots of room in the toe box of the shoe and you can easily move your toes and spread them out. I have had no heel slippage problems.

My only warning is that these shoes are designed for a transition to forefoot landing. These are a 3 arrow shoe so they are a good transition from your cushy running shoes (like the Mizuno) to a minimalist shoe. You should slowly up the mileage in these and don't start with a 10 mile run in these!

Sizing: I used the sizing charts on the Innov-8 website (which are the same as the amazon site) The shoes feel slightly large, but I decided that they were good to use. I like buying shoes at a store and always try on the size above and below, but this is not practical with on line orders. To measure your foot size I used the evening (you should have the largest foot size because of swelling) and stood on a paper on the floor and marked out my foot. My sizes were 28.3 & 28.6 cm which converted to a US 11.5 size. This is the same size that I use for my Mizuno Wave Rider 15 running shoes which is also an 11.5 US size. (Again the sizing chart for these shoes is 28.5cm = 11.2in) This size for both sets of shoes gives a thumbs spacing between my big toe and and the end of the shoe.

I bought these shoes because they were cheap and I needed a new pair. I usually buy "skater shoes" in size 9, but bought these in 8.5 and they're too big. Look: nice style, but these shoes not only fit and feel too big, they looked too big as if they were men's shoes. the heel is very thick and clunky.

Price: irrelevant with a product this awful. don't be fooled. you should still be able to purchase decent shoes at this price point.

Conclusion: not worth your trouble. before every putting this shoe on my foot, I knew they would have to be returned. I hoped the only available review was wrong but now I have to agree. I ended up buying the Mizuno Rally 7 in black and I am very happy with them.

This is the latest in the line of this series, and it does not disappoint. They are comfortable, perform well, give great support, allow you to run or walk all day, and won't leave your feet tired. After wearing many shoes in this product line, I decided to buy a pair of Reebok Men's Instant Running Shoe, thinking that they'd be good since I had such good experience with Reebok shoes. It was a big mistake. Not all footwear is the same, and not all Reebok is the same. Even cheaper ones that come close enough in price that you'd expect somewhat similar quality do not rise to the level of these. Not only are these good for running, but they are also great for walking, a day on your feet at the amusement park, or just as generally comfortable footwear.

We see more and more athletes wear UA gear as the company gains traction and gets more visibility, and that seems to make these kicks part of his wardrobe.
