Returned these immediately. Shame on Pediped for making their new line of girl sneakers huge clogs. I always bought Pedipeds for my kids, and was looking for a bigger pair of sneakers for my daughter. Instead of a nice thin flexible sole we're used to from Pediped, these have thick solid wide sole that you see on cheap kid sneakers that are terrible for little feet. What happened??? Yes, they are still light and machine washable, but my daughter would be tripping over her own feet in these. I tracked down a pair of her last year's Pediped sneakers (Leo sneaker), and paid quite a bit more for them, just to get the "old" Pediped quality. Off to find a new brand of kid shoes...

These are really cute little sneakers, easy to put on by herself (3.5 years old), sturdy, and comfortable. Very soft inside; Daughter can wear them without socks on warmer days. She actually wears a 23.5/24 right now, but I ordered a 25 because pediped, those brilliant shoe designers, send you an extra insole to place use (yes, you double-up) which makes the shoe a half-size smaller. As she grows, I can remove it; just be sure to remove the insoles prior to machine washing (yes!!!!) the sneaks, or the insoles might not survive; These I toss in a lingerie bag or hand wash. Even with the insole, the shoe is a little big, but again, those brilliant designers created a Velcro closure with some extra room to pull the shoe tight. I'm happy, she's happy. I will always buy my kids pediped, and when shoe shopping, look for their styles first. I compare the quality, price and styles to Primigi and Naturino, and the quality to Stride Rite. But none of those have the extra insole to grow with my daughter and to last as long as pediped. My daughter has a twin brother, and we primarily buy pediped for him as well.

I got these for my 4 year old who is very active, but takes shoes off AS SOON as she gets in the house, and really tries to do that in any indoor place. I have been buying cheap shoes, because let's face it, kids destroy and grow out of shoes quickly. I found these for a decent price here on Amazon, and decided to take a chance. They are very cute, and she loves them. She wears them for hours at a time (!), and wants them on every day no matter what she is wearing. The quality is good, she can put them on herself (the tongue is attached in such a way that it doesn't slip down, so it's really easy for her), and I really love the little insole that makes it so you can buy a bigger size and have these last thru two sizes instead of just one. They are also machine washable, so they should actually stay looking good that long. My daughter doesn't slip or trip over the toes; the shoe moves with her really well. I will buy this brand again for sure(though probably not at full price, thank you Amazon). Can't speak for durability yet because we have only had them about 2 weeks...but they still look new in spite of daily playground use.

Ordered these for my 6 yr old son. He loves these shoes, they are light weight and as he says he can "run very fast" in them. He says they are very comfortable. The laces stay tied when double tied and so far they've held up to daily wear and tear with no issues. For the remarkably low price they are well worth every penny paid. They run true to size.

I ordered these for my 6 year old. The shoe seems to be a nice fit for her, my only problem is the fact that the color is not actually PINK it is a more of a fuschia which is not what I expected.Maybe they should change the description color for accuracy.

I can't say that I have ever purchased a pair of shoes online, since I am so picky about the fit. But this shoe had such good reviews that it was hard to pass up for the deal. They feel WONDERFUL!!! And it's about time a good pair of running shoes have some arch support. These shoes are extremely comfortable and don't even need to be broken in. Some reviews said they seemed to run a bit small, maybe by half a size. I normally wear a 10 in running shoes, but I bought these in a 10.5 and they fit perfectly! Just enough wiggle room. Really needed some new gym shoes, and despise dealing with shoe sales departments, so I took a chance, did a little research on NewBalance.com and ordered these from Amazon because they were on sale. They definitely run small, so order a half size up. I'm a 9 and the 9.5 is perfect with or without socks. VERY lightweight and just supportive and balancing enough for my over-pronation. Great purchase.

I went to Road Runner Sports, tired on many pro-rated track shoes. The raved about Nike Zoom Victory shoes were not that comfortable, too hard in the heel and feels sloppy on my feet, don't even try their zoom 6 or 6H what ever their mid distance shoe is. This Brooks shoe was given to me by store staff as just one to try on. I found myself comparing all other shoes to this one that day because this shoe is soo comfy ! Not to mention, if it is good enough for Amy Hastings, Wire 2 same sole, then it's good enough for me.

The Bad:

The heel is very soft and low to the ground, feels lower than zero drop in the heel, only complaint. The feeling goes away when you start running.

My 16 year old just won first place in the decathlon at New Balance Nationals. I bought these for him a week before the meet and he loved them! He used them for the 100m, 400m and the 110m hurdles. Review of Mizuno Men's Wave Nirvana 8 Running Shoe

A bit of background. I'm 68 years old, weigh in at 220 lbs, I moderately over pronate and I have flat feet. I've been running for about 30 years now and have always been plagued with AT (achilles tendonitis). Prior to making the switch to Mizuno's, I ran in New Balance, Brooks and Saucony and always got their motion control shoes due to my flat feet and my weight and my over pronation. Since making the switch to Mizuno's about 8 years ago, my AT has totally disappeared. ANY shoe that can keep this 220 lb, 68 year old body with flat feet, running without any pain is FANTASTIC in my book.

The shoe that I ran in before the Nirvana 8 was the Nirvana 7, and as good as the 7 was, the 8 is that much better. I LOVE this shoe.

Now after saying all this, just because Mizuno's work great for me does NOT mean that it will work great for you, but................I do think that it's worth it to check them out.

I have high arches, narrow AA feet, and overpronate considerably. I am 6'4" and weigh about 180. I had been through several shoes since I started running about 8 years ago, from Nike to Adidas to New Balance to Saucony to Asics. As I got faster and went further, I continually had issues with my feet, achilles, knees, and back.

Finally I tried the Nirvana 3s. I didn't have high hopes for them as they didn't feel all that comfortable to me. However they are the shoes that finally got me to and through my first marathon. The Nirvana has good arch support and a stable ride. They run a bit small and narrow compared to most.

After a couple years I tried stepping down to the Inspires for something a bit lighter (and cheaper which is nice too). For short distances they were fine but when I trained for a half marathon I started having issues again. So, back to the Nirvanas I went.

My pair of 8s seem to be the most comfortable of any of the Nirvanas I have had and feel light for a stability shoe. They continue to work great for me. Of course like others mention that doesn't mean they will work for you. Don't order these online without knowing what type of shoe you need first. Let your local experts help you out, and don't be afraid to pay a bit more for your shoes to support that service.

This is my second pair of Mizunos and they are as good as I expected them to be. Mizunos are the first shoes I have ever owned that helped my shin splints. I tend to be a brand loyal type buyer. So long as Mizunos feel like these and the first pair they have my loyalty.

I am a severe overpronator, my first Mizunos were wave Alchemys. I loved them. I weigh 250 and wanted more cushioning so I tried these nirvanas and added a stability insole. In short I love these shoes.

I jog 10-12 miles a week.

I highly recommend you be fitted for the correct shoe for you if you have not already, I ran in pain for a lot of years because I bought shoes for their "looks" rather than what was right for my stride.

I ordered this shoe expecting to receive a 6 wide toddler shoe. The box had a big label that said 6 wide and there were tags attached to the velcro loops that said wide, but inside the shoe itself where it shows what size the shoe is, it just said US size 6.

I had to return these shoes. Although they were the right size, they were too small on the top. It was hard to put them on my son's feet and they left red marks on his feet. Normally have good luck with new balance for my son but this particular style didn't fit right.

I've tried other cycling shoes and have not been happy. These shoes are comfortable, stylish and functional. The velcro straps allow for tailor fitting to your feet. Easy to get in and out of. Comfortable to walk in. I'm a true size 7 and ordered size 40 which were too big so I'm exchanging for a 39.

Ordered these shoes and they came in 2 days, they were even nicer than they looked in the pictures. Very open design almost like a sandal and very supportive. I did not get the chance to try them out on the bike because they were too small. Was very sad that they didn't come in a larger size so I'm ordering the X-Alp II shoe in a 42, I had ordered these in a 41. I don't think the shoe runs small however this is the first time I'd ordered anything in Euro sizes and wasn't quite sure what size I was. Will be reviewing the drift II when I receive them!
