These are light, on the narrow side (but fit like a glove), and very stiff. I've been coaching and running for a total of 25 years and very few spikes offer what this one does. Its a pure 400M spike and I know that it'll keep me on the track and going fast all season.

My 16 year old just won first place in the decathlon at New Balance Nationals. I bought these for him a week before the meet and he loved them! He used them for the 100m, 400m and the 110m hurdles. He set new PRs in the 100m AND 400m!! They are very light and comfortable and they fit perfectly! I will buy them again!

It fit exceptional BUT has a little defect by fabrication (hope only mine has)... but with a little band it's ok! The New Balance MSD400 is easy and it's perfect for a 400 meters runner. EXCELENT New Balance product! Love it! Buy it whit confidence! ROMANIA LOVE IT !:) Peace!
