I currently own two pairs of Gel Enduro shoes. I bought these shoes with the understanding that they were WIDE width. Since I was very happy with my other shoes I quickly took off the tags, and got rid of the packaging (yep I was that confident in the brand). As I walked around the house I noticed that they did not have the cushioning of my other pairs. They were a lot stiffer but I thought that I just needed to adjust to the new shoes. Wore them about 3 hours and I seriously wanted to dump them in the nearest dumpster. They are horribly uncomfortable. Wishing I could take them back but in all conscience I can not because I DID wear them and got rid of the packaging to boot. Lesson learned, I should have went with my first instinct and return them promptly after trying them on :(

I bought these shoes this summer and I've been completely loving them. They are a bit narrow (I have narrow feet so this isn't a problem), which is a typical running shoe "problem." But, if you have narrow feet they're wonderful. They are very cushioned, so if you are a runner that lands a bit hard on your heel despite trying to retrain your stride they're good because they give you a lot of support. And, as usual with Asics, there is wonderful arch support. Highly recommend this product to any runner.

I have been searching forever for the right travel sneakers. I hate sneakers. But I travel quite a bit and wanted something that would be sufficent in those situations where there is something cool to walk to or a local nature trail or I got the wild hair for a casual jog or to hit the hotel treadmill. But I don't want to dedicate half of my carry on to it. And these fit that bill. I can even go without socks without creating permanent stank because of the mesh. I do wear socks if I am really exerting much effort, though. The only reason I gave these four stars is because I hated the turquoise trim and stitching, and if they were all black, I could truly get double duty out of them and wear them in more casual business casual situations. I did cover a lot of it up with fabric marker but still don't like the color in the sole, because I prefer to carry on, which means travel light, which means everything has to have multiple uses.

These shoes are super comfortable, cute, perfect for fatigued feet/legs after a good workout, and sized perfectly. The soles are wide and that makes the foot look shorter-always nice for us large-footed gals. The tongue has a little pocket you can tuck the toggle into, which is un unexpected plus and improves the overall appearance from what is shown in the product photos. The blue is nice and bright and really perks up the black. Overall an excellent shoe!

This is the second set of this shoe I am buying my 3 and 5 year old boysthey actually grew out if the first set. The shoes held up extremely well and provided continued support for the six months (yes, 6 months) that they fit in them. I was buying the cheaper brands and store brands before, but now will only buy the 'good' shoes. Well worth the money spent.

Great pair of shoes as these are extremely light and perfect for kids. Highly diss appointed with seller as they described the item as size 9 and instead sent a size 12. The description is misrepresenting in regards to size as the only option on receiving the wrong size was to get a refund. So be aware of the seller. The shoe itself is a great buy.

Cheap Timberland Women's Ocean Park Lace Loafer

I got these for dog walking and various occasionally wet situations. I walk on rocky dirt paths and flipflops were not cutting it any more. I needed more sure footing and wanted my feet to feel more protected yet I HATE wearing closed shoes and even worse I hate wearing socks so these seemed like a great in between. If I wear regular sneakers w/o socks it seems like they get gross really fast. These are more open and my feet stay cool. They are easy to get on and off without loosening yet stay on my feet. I can feel seems and such when I put them on and I worried they would give me blisters but I have walked about 6-7 miles and no blisters yet. I have not gotten them soaking wet yet, hopefully they keep their shape. They feel true to size to me, maybe slightly large. I usually wear a 9 but sometimes prefer 9.5 and since I have another pair of timberlands that are 9.5 I tried that first but they were too big. I exchanged for a 9 and they were perfect but nowhere near tight and there is a lot of give in them so stick to the smaller end of your size. My feet are average width, I think wider feet might do ok but narrow ones probably not.

UpdateI have now put ALOT of wear in these and still love them. As they have softened up it is harder to keep the heal straps cinched down but even when they loosen it is not as though my feet are gonna slip out or anything, just not as snug as they were. I washed them in the washing machine and they did great. I have gotten them completely wet on the boat and they did fine. I believe they are being discontinued so I just got a second pair and they are awesome.

I purchased these shoes to wear when I take my Goldens swimming in the lake. I find them to be very comfortable, true to size and I can now walk in and around the rocky lake without slipping or damaging my feet. They are easy to slip on & off and while in the water rocks or small pebbles don't enter the shoes. I would not hesitate to purchase another pair.

I bought this shoe because I'm seeking a cushion shoe for running. The last shoe I had that I really liked was an adidas climacool, first generation. It was actually quite different from the current climacools, with a pretty soft cushion and it doesn't try and prevent pronation. If anything I tend to underpronate. The old climacool also had real good arch support.

Anyway, this shoe is quite light and looks good. It has a lot of cushion in under the ball of your foot, but not much arch support. I will probably try and get an arch supporting insole and give it another shot (my arches are a little high). When I run I very quickly develop a pain on the outside edge of the sole of my foot that I haven't had with any other shoes. Like, within the first mile. I'm not sure exactly what causes it but I simply can't use these shoes for running.

Anyway, since I don't like running in this, I use it for walking and everyday use. It's quite comfortable and works well for that purpose.

I'm not saying this shoe is not good, only that it was not good for my foot. Kind of sad, actually, because I like everything about is except the way my feet feel after I run. Unfortunately I could not have told you it wouldn't work for me without actually going for a run. Just trying these on they feel quite comfy.

I've been searching for a low drop athletic shoe for running and training. I looked at all the big brands and couldn't bring myself to spend the $$$. I'm on a budget and don't have a lot for extras but my previous training shoes were all but threads. I've tried the barefoot thing and know that I need some protection.

First Impressions:

These are my first "low drop" shoes and as such felt a little weird(good weird) when I first put them on. I did some body weight squats and could instantly feel how the shoes promote driving through the heel. I then took a short, light run and was pleased that the shoes also promote a mid-foot/fore-foot strike. All this was with socks. The following morning I took a "vigorous" walk for a couple of miles pushing my daughter in a jog stroller. I did this sock-less and was pleased that there were no raw spots and the shoes breathed very well.

Fit:

I'm 6'1", 178 lbs, and wear a size 8.5 which is the size I ordered. Putting the shoe on was no problem, the lace system is easy to manipulate. The heel-pocket really seems to grab the foot and keep it there. The shoes loosens up as you move from mid-arch to the fore-foot. The toe box of the shoe is roomy and allows for splaying of the toes and makes for very stable maneuvering and a surefooted feel. The padding is minimal but not "barefoot" minimal. You can feel the ground well but not every pebble. The upper seems rugged and is decently flexible while providing support. If you're looking for a barefoot feel shoe this is not it.

Overall I'm really happy with these shoes and hope that Avia is still making them when I need a new pair. I intend to update this review after a few months of use. So far these shoes are wicked awesome.

I bought these shoes for my son with the idea that a high top shoe would be good for keeping his ankles straight when he starts walking. When my daughter was learning, we bought her high top shoes for this reason, and getting them on her little toe curling feet was a nightmare! So...when I saw these I was excited and bought them for my son. To my dismay, the shoe fits perfect and slide off like we have smeared his foot in a vat of frying oil. There is NO way to get the Velcro tight enough around the ankle to keep it on. So as one of the reviews I read here that gave this shoe a 5 star thinking they fell off because they are too big for her child, and not because of the Velcro, they are WRONG!!! The idea of the shoe is there, it just needs some work. I even tried putting actual shoe laces through the top holes of the shoe and tying it so it would be tight around his ankle area. This helped, but made the shoe uncomfortable for him,and made getting them on extremely difficult, slightly defeating the purpose of the ease of the Velcro. So, I just stopped putting them on him altogether, and have considered the money spent on them a lesson learned!

These are not for all-day-at-school or for P.E. or running since they have no arch support and not great to wear on cold days (no lining!) BUT they are the FASTEST solution to get out the door to tae-kwon-do after rushing through homework. These quick change shoes get them from house to car to do-jhang, and back to car and house for quick supper before more homework and bedtime routine. Lacing shoes takes too long! They wear these without slipping (happened with their croc style shoes). These come off and on quickly but stay put when you need them to! And can just be kicked off easily when in a hurry but not needed for such a long time. The elastic laces are pure genius! They get a 5 just for that!

Chucks are like my new fav. I have a custom pair i had made for me and then i just have differant ones from Amazon and other sites. So now my son want's to where them. I bought these for my son because they don't have traditional laces in them. Im always reminding him to tie his shoes or he'll just hurry up and tuck them in so he dosn't have to. These kids Converse have elastic laces and the back upper colored part velcros down so you just stick your foot in. I got them in black/charcoal,ie... so the whole charcoal part flips down....can you say happy child. I had standard shipping on these shoes which is like anywhere from 3 to 10 days. I got them in two. Which is great. Another thing sometimes you find the exact same shoe from an external website on Amazon's site cheaper or maybe even free shipping or both. Very comfortable right out of the box.I bought these shoes because I needed new shoes for my RIPPED class. I love having brightly colored shoes because it makes my workouts more enjoyable if I look good, its vain but true... Anyway, they aren't quite supportive enough for RIPPED, especially doing mountain climbers. I wore them though for Zumba, right after RIPPED and they were fine. I am a bit disappointed in the grip though, I feel they should be much stickier than they are for being brand new. They look very cute though, just not for intense interval training, however at $40 I will use them for Zumba.

Although I got the women's version of these shoes, they are the same fit. These shoes are the perfect mix of the totally neutral shoes (New Balance Minimus or Vibram 5 fingers) and the more stable types out there. (Mizuno Wave Runner). They make you feel like you are flying since they are so light, and you can still run midfoot. I get compliments every time I wear them; is this based on the color?? I ordered this shoe thinking it was going to be a steel toed shoe and when it arrived I noticed it was not. I thought at first I read the description wrong but I checked and it says steel toe under product description. I just wanted to warn future buyers about the error on the description . If you need strong regular shoes I would definitely get this product and the pictures don't do it justice.

On the bright side Amazon's customer service was very helpful and easy to contact with virtually no wait time while calling. If I were to rate Amazons customer service it would be 5/5 stars for sure. They gave me a refund and have UPS coming to pick up the shoes

As a person with duck feet, it is nice to finally find a pair of shoes that run true to listed size and width. These are comfortable, flexible, yet they provide plenty of support all over. The shoes are well made, stitching and seams, and the lacing eyelets go a little further down at the toe to prevent binding at the foot/toe joint. Only problem, the good looking laces that came with the shoes were too long and needed to be replaced. Minor consideration.

The shoe was a nice change in the beginning, very lightweight and had a comfortable foot bed. I began to alternate between two pairs of work shoes until these would break in. I finally began to wear these full time and it turned out to be a big mistake. After only using these pair of shoes for one week straight, my feet and back are now in constant pain and I wake up in the morning barely walking. These shoes are no match for concrete floors for any period of time. I am once again trying to find a comfortable and useable pair of work boots, maybe Carolina or Keen. Unfortunately the refund time had lapsed and CAT will only replace defective products after they inspect the shoe. Suffice to say that I will not return to CAT products ever again.

For anyone who needs to wear something casual but not TOO casual like ordinary sneakers, but still needs the cushioning and comfort of padded-heel sneakers, Saucony Originals are the answer. They let you choose colours to go with different outfits and still walk in sneaker-like comfort. They are defintely more padded than most ordinary (and expensive) so-called 'walking shoes' in the market (I have tried them all over the years, even the most expensive brands). Saucony Originals beat them all. I walked through the Museums and Galleries of London and then explored the street sites for hours each evening in my Saucony Oringinals and was amazed to find that my feet did not hurt by the end of the day! Usually just a few hours walking on the hard marble floor of a Museum is enough to get my feet aching. My Sauconys allowed me 10 hours of pure pleasure with no pain!! Without looking like a dork! Now I wear them to my business appointments matched with smart-casual pants. I always get admiring comments on them (my first pair are a pale green combo).

These are also suitable for people with real-foot problems. I have a very bad pronation and they have held up and held me up, wonderfully.

The only complaint is that Amazon doesn't carry enough of the colour combinations in different sizes!I'd buy not one more pair, but a cupboard-full!

I have a lot of trouble finding a comfortable shoe. I was visiting San Francisco and had trouble with the shoes I was wearing very quickly. We stopped at a shoe store to get me some new shoes and I picked the Saucony Jazz because I liked the style and they looked comfortable. I put them on, and they were, and I hoped that they would stay that way because a lot of walking can change that very quickly. These shoes didn't have to be broken in at all. They were perfect from day one, I can wear them for everything I do, and the ones I have from San Francisco are still in great condition even after serious abuse over the course of 2 1/2 years. I got these the other day, since my old pair is all black and I wanted another version of the Jazz. The colors are interesting, but I love them just as much as my old pair. They are just as comfortable as the pair I had been wearing for 2 1/2 years without needing a break in. I highly recommend these.

I love Saucony's so when I needed new shoes, I got these. They're super comfy to walk in but murder to stand in which is why I'm not giving them a 5. I talked to a salesman at the Saucony store who said their shoes are meant for action and movement, not standing...which is true. So, if you're a cashier or stand in line a lot, these may not be the best choice. I'm about 60 lbs overweight and find these extremely comfortable to walk in. I do overpronate a little and wish they had stiffer support on the inside to keep my ankle from rolling in, but that can be fixed with inserts. They're cute, they breathe easy and don't need to be broken in..they're flexible...so you can't go wrong with these. I'd love to have more in different colors!

I went to a local running store to get a running shoe fitting. I tried about 5 different pairs recommended by the sales person and did a running demo in each. The Asics were hands down the most comfortable. They were a little heavier than the other brands because the Gel cushioning system is a little heftier than the foam alternatives, but they are just so comfortable. I'm not a hard core runner, I do about 5-10 miles a week mixed in w/ other cardio activities, but I can easily run an hour in these shoes without any knee or back pain. There is plenty of room in the toe area for my toes to move and grip. The positioning of the lace holes allows me to get a very adjustable, snug fit across the top of my foot, keeping my foot in place while running. FYI, I threw out the floppy footbed thingies that came with the shoes and replaced them w/ a pair of "green" Superfeet insoles (that I bought from the local running store in exchange for the fitting service, since I didn't buy the shoes there... they only had one ugly color choice!).

I have purchased Asics exclusively for running shoes for the last ~10 years and I am convinced you cannot find a more supportive, better constructed shoe.

With these you feel like you are stepping into memory foam-oh wait its because you are. They have the best insoles which support my med-high arches without the need of bulky inserts. I run like 15-20 miles per week and these really have been a godsend compared to my last shoe. I've been a devotee of the 21## series for years, and this one does not disappoint. I have extremely flat feet and have to wear stiff orthotics in my shoes for any activity. These shoes accommodate that extra bulk, yet feel light and springy regardless. I knew I'd stick with this brand when I had to get a new pair of shoes right before my first triathlon, and even though they were virtually brand new, I ran my sweaty ~6 miles at the end with no blisters or sore spots at all.

Love this shoe! I just wish the women's colors came in more varieties that didn't involve pink/purple. Why do guys' shoes always get the cool colors?!

Also, couldn't beat the service. Not only did they arrive in 2 days (thank you prime), but I received a follow up customer service call from Road Runner to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my purchase.

These shoes are very lightweight with great support. I run 3 or 4 times a week in these and they are super comfortable. I read the previous reviews about the shoes being narrow. That actually works for me, because my feet are slightly narrower than medium, but not narrow enough for narrow width shoes. They fit perfectly.
