My 8 yr old is a competitive sprinter and long jumper. We spend lots of time at the track for conditioning. She is super picky about shoes. Most of the ones she tries on aren't 'comfy'. She has a fairly narrow foot, with a high arch and in step. So when I told her I ordered shoes, she was worried. (generally, she tries 8 million different pairs b4 she finds one she is happy with) When they arrived, I held my breath as she slipped one on. The huge grin and the "They are really comfy" was awesome!! :) After her first practice I asked her how her shoes were. Her reply... "I didn't notice them." Which is exactly what we wanted so she could be free to focus on form and technique. Her only complaint... they have pink on them. lol

These are great shoes. I am a giant person and needed something good looking and extra supportive (6'2-250 lbs.) I look forward to actually wearing them in the woods. I live in Chicago and they do super well on concrete but know they will also be good elsewhere as I have had Merrell shoes before and they were all good.
I wish I could find someplace that's selling them. No one seems to have them now. I've been trying for two months to buy two or three more pair, but everyone is out of them.
At this point I'd take them in nearly any color.

I'm a grocer. I work on my feet about 30-40 hours a week, and these are my absolute favorite shoes! They fit perfectly, give a ton of support, and look great. I get compliments on them all the time. I'd wear them all the time if I could find more of them.I wish I could find someplace that's selling them. No one seems to have them now. I purchased these orthotics after having them recommended to me by a local specialty shoe store that I trust. I have them in a pair of neutral New Balance running shoes that I liked except they lacked sufficient arch support. These Aetrex insoles definitely provide enough arch support for me, almost too much in fact. I am 6'2" and 201 pounds and run about 20 miles per week and am therefore pretty hard on footwear. These have proven to be quite resilient and durable and I recommend them to anyone who has an appropriate foot shape to need the level of support they provide. I have noticed that my feet and knees feel better after running with these in the shoes (versus the stock New Balance insole,) but they do take some getting used to. I find the arch support to rise and fall without much subtlety under the midfoot area, which feels a bit akin to having half a tennis ball under your arch for lack of a better analogy. I'm not discouraging their use in any way, but I think my arch shape is a bit less highly sloped at the margins for these to be quite perfect. I plan on using these until they wear out (which at this rate could take a while; I've been running with them for two months now) and then trying something else. My oldest son has run cross country for several years. He averages 10 to 15 miles a day. These are the only inserts I have been able to find that last for more than 60 days! I need arch support and I have foot issues. I bought these hoping they would be right for me. They're ok but the biggest complaint this the ball support is too big and in the wrong place. It takes a while to get used to them but they are better than nothing at all. The arch support itself is good.

And stylish, too! I am a size 7, 106 pounds, with feet on the wider side and running on the treadmill in these shoes is eminently comfortable. I've heard some people like to buy their running sneaks half a size larger, to give their toes a little more room, but I did not need to do so with these shoes. They were true to size, and my toes do not end up being cramped after the end of a 3-mile run. I also found my feet were comfortable, and the fabric seemed to wick sweat away from my feet without ending up sweat-soaked, if you see what I mean.

These fit true to size. I wear an 11. The sides of the shoe don't rise very high which allows more flexibility, and for me is a real plus since my right ankle consists of 2 metal plates and 10 pins making it a bit more square then my left. But the fit was equally comfortable on both feet. The item shipped very fast. They are cute and my daughter loves them. I suggest getting one size bigger than the chart though. My daughter is a size 12 and I measured her foot with a ruler and she measured 7 inches. I followed the chart and got a size 13 (7 1/2"), but they just fit. Her toe is right to the tip. I didn't want to spend so much only for her to wear them for a month before growing out of them :-(

My daughter loves them but she cant wear them out of the house because when she is walking the little turning thing sometimes makes her foot turn when she doesnt want it and she falls. Love this shoe. If you love barefoot running but find the toe shoes a bit constricting, these are the shoes for you. All the comfort of a barefoot running shoes without the constrants of the toes. I got this for my 7 year old and so far so good! We actually had to replace some other skechers that broke which I was very disappointed with! The other skechers had a couple of straps that looped through this medal eyelet things and the eyelet broke and he only had them for a very short time. I think these are going to be great!

I received the Puma Nm Fashion sneaker as a gift and was skeptical about its performance as a running shoe. However, I have since run an estimated two-three miles a day since I received them a month ago and they are excellent. Despite not having laces, they fit exceptionally well and provide excellent support. I personaly use these shoes for running and other athletic activities and love them.
I highly recommend these shoes. I probably would not buy the Osu Nm fashion sneaker because I am not fond of how they lookbut in terms of function, I would say this shoe is probably one of the best shoes I have ever worn for running. Today I ran a 13:08 two mile and there is no noticable fatigue or soreness in my ankles, knees, or hips. I really can't say enough good things about this shoe. Again though, as a shoe you wear to look good, or to impress people.. (well, I have been complimented several times about how they look).. I would pass on them, but if you want a great shoe to run, or do other athletic activities, this is the shoe to buy (or in my case, receive as a gift).

Bought these shoes for my son, he loves them. They are very good looking. However, after only a month and a half. The seams are coming loose and the rubber on the front of the shoe at end of toe area has become a large loose rubber flap.My son has 2 pair shoes, one for school and one for play. Discount Mizuno Men's Wave Elixir 6 Running Shoe
I've been wearing Wave Elixir's for the last 3 years and I really like them. They instantly had a higher performance feel to them and their slightly "firmer" feel really felt good. I don't put on a ton of miles (run a local half marathon,5k or two, 8-10 miles per week average overall each year) so far they have all held up really well. They are lightweight and very breathable. I could be wrong, but the stability control built into this model does not seem as drastic in other "stability" style shoes I've worn in the past and the overall feel is a bit firmer than others I've worn. I'd say if your looking for something not quite so "squishy" feeling give these a try. Don't get me wrong they still have some forgiveness, just not as much which I guess I seem to prefer.
The color of the Amazon photo on my computer screen makes the trim look almost purple, but it's actually blue. Also, these new ones fit almost exactly the same as my older pairs so sizing seems to have stayed the same between the slight redesigns.

I wasn't familiar with this brand before buying; later I found out that its reputation is quite good. And for good reason. These shoes are surprisingly sturdy, and not necessarily just for water wear. They've been holding up for half a year with my hard-wearing son who slogs them through mud, water, even snow, and sometimes for multiple hours at a time without a trace of discomfort. They show very little sign of wear, too: the elastic is holding well and still grips the foot firmly in water, and the treads have barely faded. I think he'll grow out of them before wearing them out.

My son's first pair of sneakers was a pediped and since then he refuses to wear anything else, his common complaint being, "it's too hard". He loves these and prefers them over his sandals even though he has to wear socks with them. I tried to introduce him to Keen Newport H2s, which is sort of a sandal/shoe crossover but he didn't like them, mainly because they don't have enough vertical space to accommodate his chunky feet and are not very easy for him to put on. These pedipeds don't have any elastic bands or structural elements restricting the vertical fit/volume such as those found on some stride rite shoes. This allows the fit to be highly adjustable using just the two velcro straps. These are on the pricey side compared to other shoes in this category, but if they hold up to the daily abuse being doled out to them, I'll buy them again.

I bought these shoe's in a 6.5 for my tiny tot. Shoe is really cute and well made. He is going to get good use out if these. Also, love that the shoes come with inserts for longer wear and comfort. I always by my kids shoes a size too big and the inserts make it so that the shoes fit more snug while adding comfort. You just take them out as your child's feet grow. Great shoe!
