I just got these and they are great treking/walking shoes. its really comfortable and a nice pair of shoes to wear. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I have had these shoes for over a year with constant usage from travelling through Japan and New Zealand with lots of walking and hiking local mountains.

I have not gotten problems with waterproof issues yet so it seems to do well there.

One thing I was surprised is that I have to buy size 9.5 when I usually wear 10.5. I have had 2 other Salomon shoes before and I don't recall seeing my feet shrink.

Other than that they are comfortable (not as much as running shoes but good for hiking standard) and durable. Sorry to see 2 reviews experiencing the durability issue, but they do have their warranty: [..]

I must say the warranty is not as good as some of the other outdoors brands (lifetime for The North Face, Mountain Hardwear, etc), however.

Had to return these since they were just too narrow. Some brands I can get by with normal width, sometimes I order wide. In reality my feet are probably in between "D" and "EE" width, but these run narrow. Have heard nothing but good things about them, if you have narrow to normal feet you should be fine.

I made the mistake of buying a second pair of these shoes from Amazon before I had fully worn the first pair the first pair I bought locally in Aus.

Whilst comfortable, I've basically had to throw out the first pair because the stitching came apart on both the outer sides of the left and right shoes after only a few weeks of wearing. Admittedly, the stitching came apart at the point where the shoe bends, but it just goes to show the poor quality control. I've had cheaper shoes that do not suffer from these issues.

Let's hope these second pair doesn't suffer from the same quality control issues.

have had problems with shoes falling apart not long after buying them, so far these have held up at work well and no problems with them falling apart
