First my running background: I'm a 43-year old female, average build, 5-time marathon finisher, training for my 6th. I run 35-45 miles per week.After an easy 5K hike, the following day, I took these shoes out for a 10-mile run. My usual hip, ankle, and calves stiffness were almost non-existent. These are neutral and very lightweight shoes (which I normally avoid after a bad experience with my Newtons) and they provide ample cushioning and stability (although not classified as stability shoes). They help with a smoother roll-off/transitioning in my strides. I feel like my strides are more efficient.
Love these shoes so much that I've already ordered my second pair in time to break in for my next event.
