These are nice walking shoes. I got them because I typically have to walk about 2 hours a day to get to and back from work. I've worn them all day long in a few instances and have been comfortable with them. They look exactly like the picture, no surprises there. The laces are capped off with nice solid wood, hard to crush and ruin unlike plastic. The only complaint I had, was for the first few days they seemed too tight. But after adjusting the laces with the help of some shoelacing sites I found online (Ian's Shoelaces is the best one in my opinion.) they became an ideal fit, useful for exactly what I wanted. Which is walking a lot.
