I have been purchasing this shoe for YEARS now, and have owned AT LEAST 10 pairs. These shoes are indestructible; I trail run in them, hike in them, wear them around the house. I usually FINALLY get rid of them because I wear the soles bare of traction, and they get too dirty, NOT because they get holes, separate from their soles etc. I suffered from plantar fasciitis for a full year and these were the only shoes my podiatrist wanted me to wear; in any other shoe I suffered setbacks or had to walk incredibly carefully to avoid pain. The only criticism I have of them is that I want more color options! They run a little large, which I appreciate since I'm an 11.5 with a super narrow foot so can't wear 12s; this 11 fits me and I can cinch it tightly enough with the lacing system. If these fit your foot, you will be glad you purchased them.

These shoes came in a longer fit than expected. I bought them for trail running but found them too stiff to run in so use them for trail walking instead. They have a great tread and thickness on the sole to protect your feet. But the tongue is bulky and stiff which digs into your upper foot when walking. It's a sturdy shoe with great toe protection but it's not comfortable wear.

too narrow in toe area. not much cushioning at all, tho is some arch support. runs half size small, at least in women. returning.
