These shoes are great for the heavy runner-I weigh 220 lbs and i will not even look at another shoe. I just ordered a second pair so I have an outside and inside pair. Love, Love, Love theses shoes!

I liked these shoes from the start.

I am flat footed with over-pronation and these work really well. The support I feel while running is incredible. These are the first set of running shoes i've bought. I used to buy run-of-the-mill nike/reeboks and didnt really understand that shoes and running is more of a science than that. I went to a brick and mortar store to understand what shoe I needed and I recommend doing that if you havent already. Initially, the arch was too high for my flat feet and were slightly uncomfortable but once I put miles on them, they have settled to a very comfortable and supportive level. I actually feel the slight arch supports my foot and it doesn't tire out as fast. (Ofcourse I'm no doctor so I don't if that is scientifically accurate or if I'm imagining it). Great build quality.

Cons:

The shoes stretched out juuuust little bit after I bought it so if its borderline tight for you when you try them on at a store, they'll fit after a few weeks.

They dont look great in my opinion. but who cares!

I am very pleased with these. A very comfortable fit on my wide foot. They give good support and seem to hold up well. I have worn these as I returned to a life of fitness and health after sitting on the couch for years. I am running and walking in these and they are exactly what I needed in a shoe: rugged, supportive, comfortable.

I was looking for a comfortable all around summer use sneaker. DSW suggested Saucony Progrid but did not have my size. The large mall stores had a limited selection and no Progrid models. The price point with N/C shipping and the selection of many models and colors at Amazon had every other option beat. The first time I put this shoe on, it felt "broken in". The issue with my arch feeling cramped did not occur. It was easy to insert my orthotics under the innersole. The outer surface material "breathes". This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Great product. Excellent value. Delivery arrived before stated outside date. UPDATE I had to return these shoes because they made very loud "squeeking" noises while walking even when on carpet. I assume a Mfg. defect pair. No problems or cost returning. They were so comfortable I ordered another pair from Amazon without hesitation!

I'll start with a word of advice. If you haven't worn a Saucony Omni running shoe before, go buy one from a local retailer after seeing that it fits your foot. Fit is the single most important thing about buying a running shoe and no amount of review reading is going to help you there.

In my case this was my third Omni shoe, and I'm pleased to report that it fits as well as the previous two. Seems to be a tad more cushioned than the last one, although wear and tear could be a big factor there. It's a nice lightweight shoe that fits well and performs really well.

I haven't had to go through any sort of break-in with this shoe and ran a PB 5k within a day of it arriving, with no blisters or discomfort afterwards.
