This is the second pair of these insoles I have purchased this year. The first ones I bought while training for a marathon. Training was almost to a halt due to shin splints and I was only able to run if wearing compression sleeves on both legs. After a few days of running with the insoles, I was able to run without pain and in a couple of weeks I even removed the compression sleeves. These insoles work great and I bought the second set for my alternate running shoes so both pairs always ready to go!

Have tried other thicker inserts, but the thin profile of these offer more comfort while providing support. it was worth the extra $$$.

I always read the reviews and they usually help me, but I think there was just one slightly critical review on this item. The buyer said these insoles need to be fitted so that means the arch height has to be chosen, and length trimmed for starters. You can't do this with a real orthodic. Well, I'm not sure what was wrong as far as why they didn't feel right for me, but nothing felt right. I am happy most runners on these reviews like them if that's who they really were. I am questioning their saying these are runner's no. 1 insole since at least for me, I've never heard of them. And, they do feel like they made something a little more firm through the middle, but for me at least, the materials are just not firm enough for impact very light weight. There are so many so called orthodics, which in my opinion, are just foamy plastic, and don't deserve to be called orthodics. Orthodics are hard plastic molded for each specific foot by using a foot pattern. These are sort of generic, you just say the height of your arch and I guess trim them that's not in my opinion a real orthodic, and saying it is, sort of misleads buyers into thinking it has the firmness of a real orthodic, which it doesn't. In my opinion too much money and very cheap materials for the price. Of course a regular orthodic could cost hundreds of colors, but it would be molded to your foot and could help you more than this cheap insole. That's all this is a cheap insole, perhaps some technology somewhere, but who cares about that, if it's isn't tailored to your foot like a regular orthodic. No problem with returning them. Full refund.

I have tried many insoles. I picked this one up from a vendor at a 7K run event. You have to be measured correctly for these to analyze your arch and foot posture. I love my set of Currex mediums. While they are pricy, if properly fit, they are VERY comfortable and well made. For my running and walking shoes this is THE BEST!

Besides trying these inserts for myself, I also gave one pair to an older adult. They are wonderful and help ease the impact on the joints, heels, knees, which in turn keep older adults mobile and active! They are also great for runners.
