This shoe is awesome! I have had a hard time finding running shoes that offer stability, but these are perfect for my arch. I can't do the "light as air with no support" shoes that are so popular now. I was surprised at how light these were though, considering all of the cushioning in them. They did feel a little stiff at first (mainly in the heels), but it only took a few short runs to break them in and adjust. I purchased these half way through training for my last mini marathon, and they have proven to be a great choice for long distance runs. The color is VERY bright, but that's just what I was looking for. I get tons of compliments on these shoes! I typically wear a 9 in most shoes and sandals, but I went up half a size. No complaints at all!

I am a HUGE asics fan and own several pairs. This particular model fits as expected, is lightweight, durable and flexible. The color is amazing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the insoles that they came with are hard. I had to put new ones in 1 week after I bought them (about 30 miles of running). That first pair of insoles should last me at LEAST 150 miles... not 30. A little bummed about the really hard insoles but happy with the overall shoe (so far).

I have flat feet, a messed-up ankle from an old injury, and finicky knees. My doctor recommended this brand of shoe for normal wear, so I bought a pair. She was right! They have great arch support, and my knees feel better after wearing these shoes for a while. I can feel the difference in my gait with these shoes. The heels are well-cushioned, too, so walking on really hard surfaces is less jarring.

Also, the stripey bits on the side aren't as obvious in reality, which is a good thing. They end up looking more like plain ol' black sneakers, without a lot of flair, as I prefer.

Bought these after my beloved GT-2150s had worn out, thinking they'd be similar. Not the case. I have pretty flat feet and these offer no support or shock absorption whatsoever. I should have spent the extra money for the new GT-2000s.

My first set of official running shoes, very pleased. Lots of room in the toes. Use them to run 3-5 miles and they are great. Super bright and fun too!
