I needed a new pair of walking shoes for my treadmill and chose this one. The only "bad" thing, if you want to call it that, is that this shoe runs a little bit small. I'm a women's 8.5 (regular) in all shoes, even other ASICS tennis shoes, but I wound up needing a size 9 in this particular shoe. However the exchange process was SUPER easy (they even sent me the replacement pair before I had returned the smaller size). Can't ask for better than that!
As for the shoe itself, now that I have the correct size they're a dream to wear. Very comfortable and I've already pounded out several thousands of steps on the treadmill without any kind of blisters, discomfort or needing to "break them in". They were comfortable from the get go.

Buy 1/2 size larger than you wear. Very comfortable. Didn't have to break in at all. Great buy. Thinking about getting another pair.

I power walk 20 30 miles a week and these shoes are like walking in air. They do run small, so I read the reviews that said to order 1/2 size larger than you usually wear, so I did and they fit perfectly. I have been a Reebok Easytone walking shoe fan for the last couple of years, but decided to give these a try and I'm glad I did. Of course purple is my favorite color, and I had never owned a pair of black tennis shoes before, so given the price and the color, these shoes were perfect for what I was looking for and the comfort did not disappoint.
