I bought these for my 7 year old to wear for basketball. I think they are cute, sturdy and reasonably priced. I didn't want to spend $50 for the ten times that he would wear them (his feet grow fast)and thought these were reasonable.

The Fila Swift are my daughter's favorite sneakers. She picks them above all her over shoes... She has about 25 pairs of shoes. They are light weight and even though she gets dirty alot they are super easy to clean.

I have had a hard time finding shoes, in any price point, that can stand up to my boys. This shoe fit size appropriate, and so far has held up. And you can't go wrong with basic black. I certainly don't need shoes that add more lights or noise to my life. Just wanted a basic sneaker, and these have been that. Even without bells and whistles, my 7 year old was pleased.
