Really super toddler shoes, with velcro straps, daughter loves them b/c she can put on herself. We're on our second pair, the first we found at a local consignment, obviously better since these are a little pricey

These shoes look great and seem to be well built. Unfortunately, they seem to be as stiff as plastic ski boots. Even hiking boots with a steel shank often seem more flexible than these shoes. So although my daughter likes how they look, she doesn't like wearing these shoes.

I've always been a fan of saucony. I bought my son a different style in extra wide size, so was hesitant in buying standard size for him. When I got them, they fit and looked very stylish. Granted, the Velcro can't be pulled as tight and wished they were a little wider, but not every baby is blessed with two by fours for feet. I only have 4 stars because width (obviously), but disappointed that the difference in price between a 6 and a 7 size was a whopping $16 for that extra 1/4 inch ($24 and $40 respectively)!!

Love the style and fit. Had these for my daughter before and liked them. Glad to find a good color for my son. Only thing is my son must have fat feet or the shoe fits a little snug. We can't completely close the Velcro strap. Would buy them again, though

I agree with the other reviewer that these shoes are not that flexible. I do like that they are light-weight. My athletic toddler seems to be a little slower when he's wearing these shoes. I bought so that he could wear something different to the Saucony running shoes he outgrew but yes, I know that these are not running shoes and I shouldn't compare it to same, BUT given that they are made for the kids and we know kids like to run and play, the shoes fall short of my expectations of a good pair of toddler shoes. I think there needs to be some cushioning inside which this shoe badly lacks, and the sole needs to be flexible. There have been a few times when my child tripped on his shoes when running which has never happened with his other saucony shoes. We got the blue pair and it looks cute but I will not buy this shoe again.
