i have purchased 2 pairs of hi-tec sneakers.. trail running and hiking... i wear them all the time and i am rough on shoes... they fit me perfectly and have held up very well... highly recommended

I find it easy to buy men's shoes online as for the most part sizes are fairly standard. I can almost always buy an 11 and it will fit. I tend to buy these types of shoes for work (Merrell, Columbia etc). The first pair ordered was an 11, but was tight like what I imagine a 10.5 feels like. The 11.5 size fits like a "standard" 11, so keep this in mind.
I had read a few reviews that mentioned this, so heed this advice! Order a 1/2 size larger for your true fit. The shoe itself is light, comfortable to wear with a stable platform. I can not speak to the trail running aspect, but overall it is a good, cheaper alternative to similar, but pricier Merrell and Columbia shoes.
