The shoes are very comfortable. They have the support of a Dansko with a slightly lower profile. I really like them!

I wear Danskos due to foot/ankle problems. These shoes are cute and don't look "orthopedic." I also have them in pewter. They fit perfectly. I can walk for miles in them.

The look is deceptive, they look like flats, but the insole has over an inch and a half heel built-in. This causes the soft elastic heel to barely cling to the bottom of my heel. I find the fit very uncomfortable. I tried putting another insole in them, but this made them much too big, so I sent them back.

I don't know why Dansko shoes are all over $100. I have tried a few pair, at different sizes and they all feel wonderful at first but after a while they put too much pressure on my toes. They are not too narrow. I am assuming, now that it is because of the slope of the shoes because size and style are all the same problem. It may just be my foot and toes because other people give 4 or 5 stars. I got a wonderful price for these shoes through Amazon so I am keeping them. I love the style, fabric, ease of putting on. If after awhile they ease up on my toes I will revise my review.
