I have a narrow foot and usually wear a B or medium width in running shoes so I can wear a sock with comfort. I tried on these shoes as soon as they arrived, and I can barely squeeze my bare foot into this supposedly B width shoe--it is tight and exerts pressure across the foot--even if untied. While the shoes look nice-they are not sized in a standard fashion and are much too narrow. These are being returned as uncomfortable and unwearable. If you notice, most sizes in the C-D width are sold-out--probably because no one with a normal width foot can wear the B-width. Be forewarned if ordering!

I've worn ASICS shoes for many years now, and generally really like the fit. However, I would recommend you size up a full size for these shoes.

I have a history of supination with surgical repair along with RA. These are the most comfortable shoes I have bought. I usually run in New Balance 992s or North Face. I prefer a shoe with stability and tread for off trail. This shoe will do both. It actually feels good. Can't believe I waited so long to buy them and they cost half of what I have been spending.

They are a little "bright" in color but that's the only negative I can come up with.

I could not believe how comfortable these shoes were! I ordered them in my usual size, and they fit absolutely perfectly with plenty of support. There wasn't that period of "breaking in" at all either. When I went running for the first time with these shoes (track), it felt like I was running on a cloud. I've had major knee problems in the past and have been in physical therapy for my knee. These shoes did not aggravate my knee problems at all. Great shoe, and I highly recommend them.

Before buying these shoes, I read a lot of other reviews that said that these shoes are narrower compared to other shoes. My question was whether it was narrower to other Asics or was it narrower compared to other brands. What I have found is that they are slightly narrower than other Asics.

As a comparison, I own a pair of Asics GT 2160. When I wear the GT 2160s, I usually wear a normal pair of ankle socks (think of the thickness of white sweat socks). If I wear a pair of thin ankle socks (basically decorative colored socks without padding) my heel will slip slightly. With the Asics Gel-Kahana shoes, if I wear the thin ankle socks, the shoes are perfect. If I wear the thicker ankle socks, the shoes are tight.

Just another note: I love these shoes. I have been fighting planter fasciitis for some time. I can tell a difference when I wear these shoes verses some other shoes. They definitely support my feet correctly.
