My husband is 73 years old and very active. He walks a lot and his feet had begun to hurt a lot until he got this pair of Asics, which were recommended by his brother. He wears a size 10-10 1/2, so he ordered a size 11 to accommodate thick socks.

He loves them and I am already planning to buy another pair as a spare becsuse he threw all of his other athletic shoes away or gave them to Goodwill if they had a lot of wear left in them.

I have been wearing Asics Gels for 10 years or so, they just feel good after a long day. The shoes run small to me, I normally wear a size 9.5 but I buy the 10 in the Gels and it works. Not sure how a shoe can get a 5, unless it does the walking for you. Good shoe at a good price.
