The cleats fits good, also the red color looks nice on them! Awesome price for these pair of Asics cleats.Best Deals on ASICS Men's Lethal Stats SK Soccer Shoe
I have always worn the same size in Asics running shoes; these cleats were no different. Yes, they fit tight, as they should. I haven't had any problems or blisters with multiple 2+ hour pick up games. I don't notice the slight heal lift at all, so I have no input on that. I would recommend these cleats to anyone.Honest reviews on ASICS Men's Lethal Stats SK Soccer Shoe
Let me start by saying that I began looking at Asics and their football boots after enduring some nagging injuries over the last couple of years. I suffer currently from bilateral chronic achilles tendonitis and have seen some pretty severe calf strains that sidelined me for about 6 of the last 24mos. I also have had the pleasure of playing on a knee that has had surgicaly repaired medial and lateral menisci tears(leaving me with very little cartilage in my rt. knee) the last 13yrs. Needless to say playing football hurts when I am not healthy. These boots are the latest in a series of attempts to relieve me of the many inconveniences in dealing with these ailments. When I finally decided to pull the trigger on these (I have burned through about 9 different pairs of various FG and TF soles, leather and synthetic uppers, speed and heritage boots) they had to meet certain criteria. They needed to be wide enough to prevent sole plate overhang and of an upper material that prevented overstretch, both of which contribute to ankle roll and reaggrivating my injuries. They also needed an upper that has flexible and soft; I'm a touch player. These boots seemed to tick alot of the boxes, my only hesitation being that they are synthetic. I committed anyway and I am really glad I did. When they came in they are exactly as pictured, and on first impression I was really unsatisfied with the fit of the boot. After taking note that I was in a pair of Nike Elite socks(super thick, heavy padded socks I use primarily for indoor play) and switching into a lighter weight performance sock things felt much better. Being a synthetic boot there really isn't alot of wiggle room, but that is the beauty in design of synthetic boots and the reason I had the inital discomfort. It may also be noted that this is a REALLY nice synthetic upper. I have seen alot of synthetics from the likes of my Nike Mercurial MK1 Teijin(c.1998), Adidas SprintSkin, Puma Evospeed microfiber, Adidas HybridTouch, Nike Kangalite; I've seen them all. This synthetic has been reviewed by others as stiff, rigid, detrimental to touch, etc. Well it's not. In fact, after just handleing it and working the soleplate a bit to begin the break in process(by "work" I mean flexing the heck out of the sole to loosen it up, something I suggest everybody does before initial wear. really expediates the break in process in any boot) the upper was ready to collapse on itself. This is really unheard of in synthetic uppers, and a very pleasant surprise. I have only ever experienced this before in fine K-leather boots. For me, the sole plate, lacing, and cut of the boot is just about as perfect as it gets. it is a bit tight in the toebox, but I like it this way. The lacing goes pretty deep down the boot allowing for good fit and adjustability. The soleplate is nice and wide(no over hang here), solid, and I have experienced no stud pressure. Everybody is always curious about the effects of the HG10mm heel, and at this point I can say that it's there but there realy isn't much of a difference between the feel of these and other boots I have tried. My stance and stride are probably most suited for this tech though(I spend alot of time on the balls of my feet when stationary, on my toes for sprinting)so maybe that's why they feel a bit natural to me. If there are physiological benefits to this heel lift only game time will tell at this point. I am really happy with this boot so far and will be taking it out to a 2-3hr session in the next coming days. Here's hoping the heel lift delivers as promised. All things considered, solid offering from Asics and after taking this long to get in a pair of their boots I can't see going to any other.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for ASICS Men's Lethal Stats SK Soccer Shoe
On size, I'm a size 13 and I own a pair of soft ground ASICS rugby boots in size 13 that fits like a dream, so I was a little surprised when I tried this pair on and noted how snug they were. However, let me clear the air by saying that now that I've worn them for two weeks at practice and two tournaments, the fit is perfect. It's not that they're tight per se, it's just that they fit your foot like you would expect a fitted glove to wrap around your fingers. They don't slide around even when wet which meant zero blisters where usually I would have expected a ton of them. Plus, the cushioning in the sole is super comfortable. The outer material is slick-looking, and gets good grip on the ball even when wet. Plus, as it was the main reason that I purchased these, the grip on natural turf is outstanding. A huge fan of these. I don't think I'll stray from ASICS boots anytime soon. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the laces seem like they could be more durable, but a very minor concern.
